Initially, I was quite impressed with Habanero Games and their Japanese Mask slot purely down to its fantastic design, which features some excellent graphics. Things soon started to go downhill from there, though, and although the slot does include a progressive jackpot and a free spins feature, I found the base game quite dull with winning cascades removing additional blockers but not adding any multipliers or anything to help you win big.

This was even more surprising in the free spins bonus, where the blocks you remove will stay absent from the reels for the entire bonus, but all that does is give you a larger playfield; there are still no multipliers or anything to get excited about. Perhaps it's just me, and I'm missing something here, but Japanese Mask was a game I quickly got bored of.
