Just so there are no mistakes here, the ‘jelly’ referenced in this online slot is of the British variety – a sweet, savoury treat you would most likely eat as a dessert. After all that, I’m sure you are itching to learn how Jelly Multihops pays, aren’t you?! Well, the game uses a 6×7 playfield for a total of 42 symbol positions, 50% of which must contain matching symbols to trigger a maximum win. It’s worth pointing out that this design theoretically enables you to land two such sets of symbols simultaneously. However, I’d imagine the odds of such a feat occurring must be on the order of many billions to one… if not more! 21 or more scattered red jellies offer a payout of 50x the current stake, followed by 25x, 20x, and 15x for the pink, purple, and blue jellies, respectively. Finally, 21 or more of the lower-paying symbols appearing anywhere in view have returns of 10x, 8x, or 6x for the cyan, green, or orange jellies, respectively.
As for the betting range, the minimum/maximum permitted wagers are sensibly set at €0.20 and €10.00 per spin, with a fair amount of well-spaced-out intermediate bets between those two extremes.
Base Game & Modifiers
In my view, the real beauty of scatter-pay slots is their absolute simplicity. Online slots that feature line-based payout mechanisms frequently create scenarios whereby players can end up feeling disappointed that arrangements which appear promising fail to result in a payout being awarded.
This is less of a problem with payway-based machines, but that always comes at the expense of a lower return for a similar five of a kind combination. Random Wild Modifier
At the start of any base game spin, you may notice all the symbols on the playfield being replaced by numbers. This is the multiplier grid, and one position will be chosen randomly as the starting multiplier value.
When the grid switches back to the regular symbols, the multiplier value will be applied to any winning combinations visible on the playfield. After the winning symbols are removed, the multiplier grid will reappear, and the previous multiplier value will be added to all the other multiplier positions. A new multiplier value will then be chosen, and the process will begin again, with every consecutive win subject to a progressively increasing multiplier.

The bonus scatter symbol is easily identified by the word ‘bonus’ and its strangely cute one-eyed alien appearance. Aww, isn’t he sweet! You’ll need to land four of these simultaneously to activate eight free spins, but I’m sorry to say that in consistently disappointing Red Tiger fashion, there is no benefit to hitting more than four of these symbols at once.

In this mode, the random wild modifier is guaranteed to activate before every free spin. I was hoping that the wild multiplier value would not reset between free spins, which would have made this an S-tier bonus round… unfortunately, that is not the case. Don’t worry, though – this feature still has bags of big win potential, as it’s very common to win many times from a single free spin.

Are you having trouble catching the four bonus scatters necessary to trigger yourself some free spins?
