Jewel Stepper Slot Review Final Thoughts
Blueprint has released a number of 3-reel games in late 2024, early 2025 featuring a Hold & Win bonus round, and to be honest, there's little to choose between any of them, which is why at this point we have scored the slot as 5.5, categorising it as average.
On the plus side for today's game, Jewel Stepper, the diamond (jewel) that hits on the middle reel, as the game name would suggest, steps down one position on the next spin, giving you a better chance of triggering the feature or collecting cash symbols. Furthermore, in the free spins, multiple diamonds can land, collecting all values that appear in view, although it's hard to see when you play the game how you can ever get near the stated max win in the rules of 25,000x.
Players also have the option to use the Power Play mode, eliminating all paytable symbols from the reels. This is a good option if you're only interested in the bonus game, as none of the RTP (low at 95%) will be swallowed up by low-paying base game wins. Just keep in mind you can go on long spells of dead spins, so your bankroll can soon start heading south if luck isn't on your side.
Summing up, Jewel Stepper is another release in a long line of games in the Hold & Spin genre. It's sure to resonate with some, whilst others will quickly move on in search of something more exciting to play.
