Game Overview
If you’ve played Spribe Gaming’s original Keno turbo game, you’ll know that while great, it’s fairly limited in a few ways. The maximum win is just 100x the stake, and there’s only a single game mode. However, the studio also offers Keno 80, a game I’m reviewing today, a multiplayer version of Keno with two game modes, a 97% RTP, and a huge maximum win of 10,000x the stake.
In this version, there are 80 numbers compared to the 40 in the original, meaning bigger odds and payouts. You can pick between 1 and 10 numbers, and the more of them you guess right from the 20 numbers drawn, the more you’ll win. For instance, if you pick 10 numbers and they all hit, you’ll receive 10,000x the stake! Plus, a separate game mode lets you wager on the last ball drawn, which can reward up to 11.63x the stake.
If you’re new to Keno but like what you’ve read so far, you might want to experience the game for yourself. You can do that for free via the Keno 80 demo directly below.
Keno 80 theme, stakes, pays & symbols
Aside from the original Keno turbo game from Spribe Gaming, we’ve also reviewed Keno Deluxe by Realistic Games. Like today’s game, that version is an 80-ball variant, but you can select up to 15 numbers rather than the 20 on Keno 80, and it can return up to 11,000x the stake should you get extremely lucky.
The payouts on Keno 80 depend on how many numbers you select and how many are drawn. Below, I’ve listed the returns you’ll receive depending on how many balls you picked. For instance, if you choose four numbers, you’ll receive 0x if a single number lands and 0.35x, 2.85x, and 30x if 2, 3, or all 4 are drawn, respectively.
- Single Number: 1.16x
- 2 Numbers: 0.33x, 2.69x
- 3 Numbers: 0x, 0.74x, 13.5x
- 4 Numbers: 0x, 0.35x, 2.85x, 30x
- 5 Numbers: 0x, 0.30x, 1.05x, 6x, 75x
- 6 Numbers: 0x, 0x, 0.67x, 4.5x, 18x, 150x
- 7 Numbers: 0x, 0x, 0.6x, 1.34x, 4.5x, 30x, 750x
- 8 Numbers: 0.3x, 0x, 0x, 1.68x, 3x, 15x, 150x, 3,000x
- 9 Numbers: 0.x, 0x, 0x, 0x, 0x, 3x, 7.5x, 48x, 300x, 7,500x
- 10 Numbers: 0.6x, 0x, 0x, 0x, 0x, 1.53x, 9x, 30x, 150x, 1,500x, 10,000x
As for the Last Ball mode, you have to guess the number drawn last. You’ll receive 23.27x the stake if you choose just a single number, and 11.63x, 7.76x, 5.81x, 4.65x, 3.87x, 3.32x, 2.9x, 2.58x, and 2.32x for choosing 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 numbers, respectively.
You can wager between 0.10 and 100.00 on each round of Keno 80. That should prove adequate for practically all budgets unless you’re some oil sheikh, movie star, or professional high roller.
How to Play Keno 80
The first port of call is to choose the mode you’d like to play. That’s either the regular mode or the Last Ball mode. You can wager between 1 and 10 numbers in both, and the same draw decides both. Once you’ve chosen your numbers, hit the ‘Bet’ button and wait for the draw to commence and complete. All bets are settled at the end, and the timer starts for the next round.
As this is a multiplayer version, other players can enjoy the game simultaneously as you. You can even see other players’ bets and results to the left of the game. Furthermore, you can look at the History of numbers drawn, which are wagered on the most, and which have hit most in the last 100 rounds. When picking numbers, you’ll see some will have a flame or snowflake on them, indicating whether they are hot or cold numbers.
Pros
- Two game modes to choose from - although only the regular pays up to 10,000x.
Cons
- The interface looks a bit dated, but you have to remember that it is a simple turbo game.
Keno 80 Spribe Review Final Thoughts
Keno 80 is definitely an upgrade on Spribe Gaming’s original Keno game. You can choose from two game modes, win up to 10,000x the stake, and play the game alongside other players. The interface still looks a bit basic, but that’s about the only complaint I have. Check it out!
