Live Dragon Tiger Demo (SA Gaming) Slot Demo & Review

Anyone who has played Baccarat will tell you it is a simple game, but only once you understand the hand rankings and the third card rules. However, while it might only take a few hands or so to do so, there’s a simpler option, and that’s to play Dragon Tiger, a game designed to be a much simpler version of the classic baccarat table game. That popular card game is under review today, but not an RNG variation, a live dealer title from SA Gaming. Live Dragon Tiger has a 96.27% RTP, a max single bet payout of 8:1, and is hosted in a live format with a professionally trained dealer.

As with baccarat, you’re not in command of a hand yourself but instead bet on its outcome. You can bet on whether the Dragon or Tiger positions will win or if the hand will end in a Tie. How the winner is determined has been simplified, too, as each position receives just a single card, and the one dealt the highest value is the winner.

The rules and gameplay are so simple that anyone could pick it up within a hand or two. Why not see for yourself via the Live Dragon Tiger demo below?

SA Gaming is an award-winning supplier of live dealer games with 15+ years of experience in the iGaming industry and roots in Asia. In recent years, the company has turned its attention to markets across Europe and North America, bringing its quality portfolio of live casino games with it. Aside from Dragon Tiger, SA Gaming offers live Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Xoc Dia, Sic Bo, Teen Patti, Andar Bahar, and more.

You can place three bets on SA Gaming’s Dragon Tiger: the Dragon to Win, the Tiger to Win, or the Tie. You will receive a return of 1:1 when winning with a Dragon or Tiger bet and 8:1 if you successfully bet on the Tie. Furthermore, you’ll not lose your entire bet if you bet on Dragon or Tiger to win, and the result is a tie. You’ll receive half your stake back.

If betting on the Dragon or Tiger, you can wager between 1.00 and 20.00 per hand. However, if the Tie is your favoured bet, you can bet between 1.00 and 7.00.

How to Play Live Dragon Tiger

Dragon Tiger Sa Gaming
Dragon Tiger Sa Gaming

I’ve never encountered a game as easy to play as Dragon Tiger or one that plays out as quickly (compared to other table games, at least). When the hand starts, you have 17 seconds to place your bets and confirm them, and the dealer then deals a card to each of the Dragon and Tiger positions on the table in front.

The position with the highest-valued card is declared the winner unless both hold the same, and it’s a Tie. As for the hand rankings/values, it’s as simple as this: The higher the card, the more it’s worth. The only thing to note is that the Ace counts as the lowest-valued card and the King the highest. At the end of the hand, bets are calculated and settled, and the countdown for the next hand begins.

The game’s interface is easy to use and understand. The live stream takes centre stage, and you have the betting options just below. Placing bets involves selecting or dragging chips with values of 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 to the betting positions you want to wager on. If you’re unsure of the bets you want to place, you can always use the hand history feature to the right of the live feed.

Pros

  • Fast gameplay and easy-to-understand rules.
  • High-quality streams and and easy-to-use betting interface.

Cons

  • It's not the most riveting of casino table games.
  • The RTP is low compared to other table games.

Live Dragon Tiger Review Final Thoughts

Dragon Tiger is hardly the most exciting casino game around; its RTP is much lower than that of Baccarat and Blackjack, and the best return you can enjoy from a bet is 8:1, but you can see why there is a demand for it. The game will appeal to players who like fast-paced action, simple gameplay, and the ability to place 60+ bets per hour. As for SA Gaming’s live version, I don’t think there can be any complaints. The betting interface is easy to use, the live stream is delivered in high definition, and the dealers are pleasant yet professional.
