Lucky Pharaoh (Blueprint) Slot Demo & Review

Blueprint Gaming’s latest online slot is yet another title to take us to the shores of the Egyptian Nile and is titled Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe. This one is bugging me, as the “Fortune Spins” mode with four reel sets plays like an old Playtech game I used to love to play a few years back and had forgotten all about. I will probably waste a good few hours trying to find that at some point this weekend! The game features 20 pay lines and has a 94.95% RTP, or 94.50% in Fortune Play Mode. The paytable mentions a maximum win of 50,000x the bet. The thing is, I’ve noticed that Blueprint has started listing this same number on all of their games, so I don’t feel confident such a hit is actually achievable on Lucky Pharoah Deluxe.

On the feature list, there are mystery symbols which work in a typical way – all visible mystery symbols will transform into a single matching symbol at the end of each spin. The mystery symbols are not very exciting in the base game but switch to the multi-reel-set Fortune Play mode, and they suddenly become much more valuable. Finally, there is a three-spin bonus round but no exclusive free spins feature.

What might you find in the depths of a pharaoh’s tomb? I don’t know the punch line, I’m afraid. Sod going in there, mate; it’s probably haunted! Thankfully, our free demo slot of Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe has been thoroughly explored, so you don’t need to worry about investigating that one!

Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe Slot Paytable

The theme of Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe should be evident from the title, but in truth, the game only has a limited amount of influence from the title’s subject matter; this sure isn’t any Book of Dead. If you’re a massive fan of games with a robust Egyptian feel, then we have an entire section dedicated to such games here at Demoslot. As far as this game is concerned, you do get some nice splash screens in between the three-spin bonus round and a couple of other places, but the symbols on the reels are so generic that you probably wouldn’t notice if this game were called Lucky Gems Deluxe or something to that effect.

The so-called “Winplan” – that’s clever man language for “paytable”, for us less educated individuals, I suppose – kicks off with a Tutankamen mask, which is worth 25x your bet for an entire pay line of five-of-a-kind. The red gem takes the second-placed spot with a return of 20x your stake, whilst the blue “teardrop” gem will pay you 15x for all five. The square green gem is worth 15x for five-of-a-kind, after which there are just five more royal symbols to complete the “Winplan”. The Ace & King return 10x your bet each, whilst the Queen, Jack, and Ten are each worth 5x.

You never know what you will get as far as wagering options are concerned in Blueprint online slots. Lucky Pharoah has a minimum bet of €0.10 per spin, whilst high rollers should be satisfied with the option of betting a much more substantial €50.00 per spin.

Base Game & Modifiers

Play With 20 Fixed Paylines On The Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe Online Slot From Blueprint Gaming
Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe slot base game

The base game utilises a slightly larger-than-average playfield, sporting five reels and four rows. Wins are awarded for hitting three or more matching symbols on a pay line starting from the left side of the screen.

Mystery Symbols

A game logo represents the mystery symbol in Lucky Pharoah. During the base game, all mystery symbols will transform into a randomly selected symbol from the paytable at the end of each spin. The mystery symbols may transform into low-paying, high-paying, or even wild symbols!

Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe Slot Bonus Features

Choose To Activate The Fortune Play Option On The Lucky Pharaoh Video Slot

The “Money Spins” feature is the only genuine bonus round in this game, but I decided to include the Fortune Play mode here, too, as whilst it does cost money to participate in, it behaves very much like a bonus in practice.

Fortune Play

The Fortune Play mode costs at least €2.00 per spin but even allows bets of up to €400.00 per round if you have a severe appetite for risk!

You only receive a single spin for your money, but that spin does take place on four individual reel sets. The main benefit of Fortune Spins is that all mystery symbols which land on any of the four reel sets will duplicate onto all remaining reel sets which have not yet been played.

After each reel set stops, all of the mystery symbols on that playfield will transform into a single symbol, much like the base game. Unlike the base game, Fortune Play mystery symbols will be copied onto later reel sets.

Duplicated symbols will not transform until each reel set has finished spinning. If other mystery symbols land on consecutive reel sets, those additional symbols will also be duplicated onto the remaining unplayed reel sets.

The mystery symbol can transform into a different symbol on each of the four playfields, which seems to be the typical way the game operates. However, despite many tests, I failed to get any wild symbols – or even any high-paying symbols -whilst I was trying the Fortune Play Feature of this game.

Money Spins

The headline feature of the game is this three-spin feature, triggered by landing three money box symbols anywhere on the reels during the base game. Each triggering money box symbol will become sticky once the Money Spins Feature begins, and all money boxes have cash prizes attached to them.

You need to land at least one more money box on each spin to keep your lives topped up to three; if you go three spins in a row without any additional money box symbols landing on the reels, your feature will end.

Lucky Pharaoh Deluxe Slot Review Final Thoughts

A solid effort from Blueprint Gaming, but I found it challenging to get a handle on just how profitable this game could be – it’s fun to play – especially the Fortune Play mode – and it looks good too. Nevertheless, I can’t imagine this one making it onto too many players’ lists of all-time favourites. It’s definitely worth a few spins, however!
