PG Soft’s Majestic Treasures video slot utilises a 5×5 grid for the main game. My first thought was that this seems awfully small for a game where you need to cluster fifteen matching symbols for the biggest wins – that’s 60% of the available playfield! Once I started playing, however, I began to change my mind as I got my first 15 symbol win very quickly.
The game makes use of the “rolling reels” mechanic, so winning symbols will explode and be removed from the screen as soon as the reels have stopped. This allows you to win multiple times from a single spin, and better yet each successive win earns a higher multiplier which you can see located along the top of the main grid.
Golden Symbols Feature
Any symbol apart from the wild and scatter symbols can sometimes appear in a gold frame. If you hit a win that includes any of these gold-framed symbols, they will immediately transform into wilds which will then be included in the following round.
It was due to this feature that I managed to hit a couple of 15 symbol wins – you don’t need too many wilds to ensure lots of winning combinations!
Majestic Treasures Slot Free Spins Feature
The free spin bonus round is triggered by hitting three scatters anywhere on the screen. There is no payout for hitting scatter symbols sadly, however you do receive two extra free spins for each additional triggering scatter above the minimum of three. This effectively means you can win 12, 14, or 16 free spins.
During the free spin feature, the multipliers above the reels will be boosted to 2x, 4x, 6x, and 10x. These higher multipliers make it much easier to hit big wins, and I had one really good bonus round during testing where I hit more than 700x my stake. I seem to be really good at hitting massive wins in demo mode – does anybody else feel this way?
