Situated at the bottom left hand side of the reels you will see the Mega Bet option, by default this is set to the most basic and lowest level. Mega Symbol Feature
During your play on the base game the mega symbol feature can randomly trigger during any spin. This is of course more likely to trigger if you are playing at one of the Mega Bet Levels, but is still active even if you are playing at the default level.
As the reels are spinning the hands that are holding the game reels in place begin to light up, as they do, 2 or more reels will merge together and form a minimum of one mega symbol. If luck is on your side then this can produce some good wins.
Mega Masks Slot Free Spins Feature
Entering the free spin feature on Mega Masks will require you to land a bonus scatter symbol on each of the reels 1, 3, and 5. These are the only reels that the scatter symbol will land on and if you trigger the bonus 10 free spins will be awarded.
The feature will begin with 4 vines climbing between the reels, you will notice that they contain artifacts between them. Now depending on which bet level you have triggered the bonus with will determine how many of these artifacts are removed before the free spins begin.
Just to refresh your memory, if you triggered the bonus on the most basic level then all artifacts will remain in place. If you triggered the bonus on Mega Bet Level 1 then fireflies will appear and remove 5 random artifacts from between the reels. A Mega Bet Level 2 trigger will see the fireflies remove 9 random artifacts from the reels.
Once your set up has been determined the free spins will begin. After each spin has finished the fireflies will appear and hover around the artifacts that are in place on the vines, it is possible for them to remove multiple artifacts at once, or they may remove non.
If a complete vine gets removed then you will be awarded with 2 additional free spins, furthermore the two adjacent reels will merge and from the next spin mega symbols will be formed upon it. The more vines you can remove, the more the reels will merge together, and the dream scenario is one huge reel that only contains mega symbols.
Mega Masks Slot Review Final Thoughts
We really liked the fact that although Mega Masks has 3 bet levels to play at, they are reasonably structured in price so that players with even the smallest sized bankrolls can afford to play at the highest and most volatile level.
The bonus round we found to be exciting and with the potential of all of the reels merging the anticipation levels are high when you’re down to the remaining couple of artifacts. Although we personally felt that you stand the best chance of success if you are playing at Mega Bet Level 2.
