Whilst the jackpot is always the ultimate aim when playing Mega Moolah slots, realistically, most of your wins will come from the symbols and features of the slots. On Mega Moolah Megaways, the best-paying symbol is the Elephant, which can pay a maximum of 50x the stake, with the Buffalo, Giraffe, and Zebra following and offering wins up to 7.5x, 2x, and 2x. Next up, we have the lower paying symbols, with the Ace and King delivering up to 0.6x the stake, the Queen and Jack paying a maximum of 1x, and the Ten and Nine awarding 0.9x and 0.8x, respectively, for a winning combo of six. The slot also features the Gold Lion Wild Symbol, which can only appear on the horizontal reel, and when it lands, it will substitute for all regular symbols.

As the slot’s name suggests, Mega Moolah Megaways is essentially a variation of the original Mega Moolah slot, and in this version, it utilises Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic to determine wins by delivering a random number symbols on the 6 main reels. The slot also features a 4-position horizontal reel that sits above the four middle reels, and through that reel configuration, it is possible to have up to 117,649 ways to win active on each spin. Winning combinations occur when 3 or more matching symbols land on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel first, with the only exception being the Elephant symbol, which requires a minimum of 2.
Cascading Reels
As with many Megaways slots, Mega Moolah Megaways also features a cascading reels feature. After winning combinations occur, winning symbols disappear, leaving gaps for new symbols to join the action. That can lead to the creation of additional wins from the same spin.
Mega Moolah Megaways Slot Bonus Features
There are two features that can be triggered in Mega Moolah Megaways. The first is the free spins bonus with an increasing progressive multiplier activated when the letters GOLD appear anywhere in view, and also the Progressive Jackpot feature that can trigger randomly whenever a wild symbol is collected from the reels.
Free Spins
You receive 12 free spins for the four ‘Gold’ scatter symbols triggering the feature with 5 extra spins added for each scatter that lands thereafter. During the free spins, a win multiplier is in play, starting at 1x and increasing by 1x after each successful winning cascade. Scatter symbols can only land on the horizontal reel above the main reels in the bonus round and will award an extra 5 or 10 free spins each time 3 or 4 scatter symbols appear, respectively.
