With the slot being themed on Jack and the Beanstalk there are obviously plenty of images that reference to the classic story. The reels of the game have the beanstalk entwined around them, and the magic harp is also positioned to the left of the reels ready to play its part later on in the game.

This is the path they have once again chosen with Megaways™ Jack, where each successful reel cascade will move you one position up the beanstalk. Just as a recap, we have explained below how cascading reels work.
Whenever a winning combination of symbols have been formed on the reels they will explode and be removed, new symbols will then drop down to fill the spaces that have been left behind. This can continue and multiple cascades may the place which could result in some big wins, or a feature trigger.

Climbing up the beanstalk to trigger the feature can be made a little easier through the help of the magic beans. This symbol can only appear in the base game after a reel cascade, and if it does land it will advance you between 1 – 3 positions up the beanstalk.

Having a well known theme to work with is always a good start for any developer, and Iron Dog Studio have done a good job of making the first Jack and the Beanstalk related Megaways™ slot. If you have played Pirates Kingdom Megaways™ before then you will know that there are quite a few aspects of that game that they carried through to this one, such as the locking reel during the bonus, as well as the cascading reels to trigger the free spins.
You can’t really blame Iron dog Studio for not changing too much from their debut slot in this niche as it proved to be a very popular game, but it would have been nice to have seen them perhaps edge toward something new and try to build on that initial success. Regardless though, Megaways™ Jack is a slot that is worth trying out to at least see what you make of it.
