A quick look at the paytable seems a promising start – the game uses 1,024 pay ways, promises multiple mods and a free spins feature, and has an above average RTP of 96.41%. Players can set their sights on a pretty impressive max win of 7,163x bet too. Well they can if the almighty gods are smiling down on them at least.
How about those modifiers and features? We have a “Gift of Zeus” feature, where Zeus will choose one of the symbols to become a wild, and then award a free re-spin. This feature can re-trigger if the chosen symbol lands again during the free re-spin. There is also a “Bolt of Zeus” re-spin feature that is triggered if two bonus symbols land, with this giving you a second chance at activating the main bonus. The free spin feature when in action adds an additional symbol to the fifth reel which can award extra free spins or a multiplier to your total feature winnings.

Might Of Zeus Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Jelly has created several games based on Greek mythology and the Roman era, one notable example being their Thor-inspired Valhalla Saga online slot. It seems they enjoy creating mythologically inspired online slots – Zeus is also a character taken from Greek mythology, where he is claimed to have been the god of the sky. Zeus was considered “the ruler, protector, and father of all of the gods and humans”. When I read this, I thought it was strange – I thought Thor was the greatest of all the gods? Then I remembered that Thor is a character from Norse mythology and was only claimed to have been the most popular of the gods. In short, Thor had the largest number of fans on Facebook, but Zeus was the real daddy thanks to his utterly sick TikTok memes. At least, I think that’s what the scripture means.
Checking out the paytable doesn’t clear up this social media battle of the gods – in first place we have Hera, a female character, who was actually Zeus’ mother. She pays out 12x your stake for a full line of five-of-a-kind, but come on Zeus, you can’t be the coolest kid on the block if your mum returns more than you do in your online slot? I guess the guy in second place is probably Thor, paying 8x your bet for a line of five, whilst Zeus himself sits in third place and pays just 6x – behind his arch-rival and his mother. Zeus wins back some respect as his girlfriend, sitting in fourth place on the paytable and paying out a little under 5x your stake for five-of-a-kind, looks really kind of hot. In an onscreen slot machine character kind of way.
Jelly has chosen to use two simple buttons for adjusting your stake in their Might of Zeus online slot, rather than the separate screen that they have been using in some of their more recent titles. The minimum bet is set at €0.25 per spin, whilst the maximum is capped at €50.00 per spin. That’s low for an online slot these days but should be plenty for more than 99% of players.
Base Game & Modifiers
As we established back in the first paragraph, Might of Zeus video slot uses an enlarged 5×4 play area with 1,024 pay ways. This setup is used for both the base game and the free spins feature, although different reel sets are used for each. As with most pay way based online slots, most symbols are stacked on the reels in this game.
Gift Of Zeus Modifier
Reading the lengthier version of the description of this modifier in the rules pages, it is revealed that the four characters who top out the paytable in Might of Zeus are actually all Olympian Gods. Am I going to rewrite my description of the paytable? Absolutely not. Hera was definitely Zeus’ mother; the guy I previously said might be Thor could well just be his father; and the girl probably isn’t even his girlfriend! If anything, I gave Zeus MORE respect than he deserved.
Joking aside, when Zeus picks one of the Olympian gods (that’s the high-paying symbols) to be his gift, he will transform all the symbols showing on screen at that time into wilds. After your winnings have been paid you will then be awarded a free re-spin, and if an additional matching symbol lands on the screen during this re-spin, the process will continue. Free re-spins can continue for as long as more matching Olympian Gods land in view, and during testing this was how I hit my biggest win
Bolt Of Zeus Modifier
A common feature of Jelly’s online slots is some form of consolation prize if you just miss the bonus round, and this is a tradition that continues here in Might of Zeus online slot. If you catch two of the three possible bonus symbols, there is a possibility that Zeus will help you out by re-spinning the reel where you failed to hit the required symbol and warding the bonus round. The paytable doesn’t make clear if this is guaranteed whenever the modifier activates, but during testing, each time Zeus re-spun the reels for me, I ended up with the feature.
Might Of Zeus Slot Free Spins Feature
Speaking of the feature, you will need to catch a bonus symbol on reels one, three, and five in order to be awarded the games biggest bonus. The free spins round is named the “Boon of Hera” and grants ten free spins initially, but a special Golden Hera symbol is also added to reel five to present some extra opportunities to win big.
During the free spin bonus round, all wild symbols also become 2x multipliers. Hit more than one of these symbols on a pay way and they will multiply each other, potentially becoming a 4x, 8x, or 16x multiplier. Additionally, the “Gift of Zeus” modifier described in the previous section can also be triggered during the free spin bonus round.
If you manage to collect three of the Golden Hera symbols on reel five, the game will reward you with three additional free spins. Make it up to six of these special symbols, and the game will double the entirety of your bonus winnings after the feature has completed. If you can keep going long enough to collect ten Golden Hera symbols, the game will add another three spins to your remaining counter. Finally, if you are unbelievably lucky and collect 16 Golden Hera symbols, your entire feature winnings will be multiplied by 3x.
Might Of Zeus Slot Review Final Thoughts
I’m pleased to say that Might of Zeus is certainly a return to form for Jelly, although as I haven’t been reviewing their games in chronological order, that statement might not make sense to others as it does to me. The previous Jelly game I looked at was average at best – this one is way above average and grew on me more the longer I played at, just like other Jelly slots I have played in the past. Look out for this one – it’s well worth a spin.
