You have to credit Wazdan for wanting to create slot games that are nothing like anything else you’ll find in the industry – but sometimes, if you stray too far from what people are used to, your work will split opinions. While I’d typically go through a slots paytable with a fine tooth comb in this section, as there are no regular symbols on the Mighty Fish™: Blue Marlin slot, that’s clearly not going to be possible. There are bonus symbols, however, so instead, let’s take a look at what they are and how they work.
- Cash Symbols: These will have a cash prize value of between 1x and 10x the stake.

Volatility Levels

Gamble
After any win, you can opt to gamble what you’ve won in an attempt to double it up to 7 times. It’s a 50/50 game that requires you to choose between green and red. If you guess correctly, you double your winnings, and should you guess wrong, all your previous winnings go down the pan.

While the two Cash Out frames will bring you a few wins from time to time, as you might know with many similar Wazdan titles, it is the bonus game that will provide your best chance of securing payouts. You’ll trigger the free spins bonus game once three or more scatter symbols land anywhere in view on the same spin.
Free Spins Feature
Once triggered, you’ll receive 10, 20, or 30 free spins depending on whether there were 3, 4, or 5 triggering scatter symbols, respectively. How much you win during this bonus game is down to how many Collector symbols land on the horizontal reel above the main reels and how much they collect for the duration of the free spins bonus. When they appear on the horizontal reel, they will have a countdown value, which represents how many spins they will collect, as well as the values of symbols that land on the reel below them. At the end of the feature, you win the values collected by all Collector symbols.
There are also other symbols that can land on the reels that will affect the Collector Symbols:
- Multiplier Symbols: Will multiply the value of the Collector symbol above by 2x to 10x.
- Countdown Booster Symbols: Will increase the countdown time of the Collector symbol above by 3.
- Collect to Infinity™ Symbols: Will change the countdown time of the symbol above to infinite – meaning it will continue to collect cash and jackpot values on every spin until the end of the bonus.
Once you run out of free spins, you receive the combined values of the Collector symbols on the horizontal reel.
Chance Level
To the left of the reels, you’ll notice a Chance Level meter, which, as standard, is switched off. You can choose to pay 2x, 4x, or 6x your stake to spin with 2x, 4x, or 6x the chance of triggering the free spins bonus game.
