The green face offers 0.5x the bet for all six symbols, whilst the blue variety is the least generous at 0.4x. The three medium pays follow the same colour pattern – the gold symbols pay 0.35x, followed by the green at 0.3x and the blue at 0.25x. As for the low-paying royals, the payouts for these range between 0.05x for six jacks up to 0.2x for six aces.
I’m very happy to report that Nolimit City has not started limiting the wagering options within their slots just yet! The minimum/maximum permitted wagers are set at €0.20 and €100.00 per spin, respectively, with more than two dozen intermediate bets available between those extremes

My first impressions of Monkey’s Gold were that it would be a grid slot – the 6×6 reel set certainly looks the part, but it turns out that this is not the case. Nolimit City has instead opted for a 46,656 payway configuration, and you’ll need at least three matching symbols starting from the leftmost reel to score yourself a win.
Colossal Symbol
Any high or medium-paying symbol can appear as a colossal symbol that takes up either 2×2 or 3×3 positions on the playfield. Every colossal symbol also comes with a multiplier of between 4x and 500x, which will be applied to any winning combination it forms a part of.
Multiplier Symbols
Even the regular symbols will sometimes appear with a multiplier in Monkey’s Gold. If you’re really lucky, you may even catch a few wild symbols that boast a multiplier too! If more than one multiplier symbol is included in a single payway, the product of their values will be applied to each winning combination.
Monkey’s Gold Slot Bonus Features
Bonus scatter symbols can land on all six reels, but you only need three to trigger the free spins feature. Three will award ten free spins, with three extra spins added for each additional scatter.
Free Spins
At the beginning of each set of free spins, a set of dice will be rolled to determine the starting vine multiplier and increment amount. The increment is particularly important – it only ranges between 1x and 3x, but the difference this can make to your potential winnings is absolutely enormous!
Every row filled during the free spins will increase the vine multiplier by the increment amount chosen at the start of the bonus round. One more free spin will be added to your remaining counter for each scatter symbol that lands whilst the bonus round is active.

That’s a real bargain as far as I can tell – I played over a dozen bonus rounds whilst testing the game for this review and only lost money on my buy-in three times! Whilst I was almost undoubtedly lucky here, I still feel that this indicates the potential of the Monkey’s Gold bonus round.
