Moon Princess Power Of Love Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
As I’ve mentioned, Power of Love is the latest of several Moon Princess titles, and one of my personal favourites from that selection is Moon Princess Trinity. It is a high volatility, 5×5 slot game, with an RTP of 96.20% and a potential maximum win of 4,000x. As the name would suggest, it stars a trio of lovely ladies, all of whom have their own special ‘girl power’. Perhaps I like it because it reminds me of the first CD album I bought, Spice Up Your Life by the Spice Girls. What a classic. Anyway, if you would prefer a more manly slot but still like the gameplay style of the Moon Princess games, you’re in luck, as the concept has also been adopted in the slot Rise of Olympus 100, but with male characters and a setting of ancient Greece. Next, we’ll take a more detailed look into the features of Moon Princess Power of Love, starting with the pays section.
To achieve the maximum possible win for each symbol, a combination featuring five of them is required. The most valuable symbol on the paytable is the Wild Moon, worth 10x per line of five symbols. The three main characters, Love, Blaze, and Hail, are next and cannot be split value-wise, each returning 7.5x, whilst five symbols consisting of a mixture of these characters will pay 3x. The non-premiums featured are the Bell, Heart, Peach, and Snowflake, which will all pay a prize of 1.5x for each winning combination of five.

Moon Princess Power Of Love Slot Base Game & Modifiers
Looking at the game mechanics, we can see that Moon Princess Power of Love operates on a 5×5 grid. There’s no need to worry about paylines, as all that’s required to achieve a win is to match a combination of three or more symbols in a vertical or horizontal line anywhere on the screen.
Any symbols that are involved in a win are removed from the grid, allowing those sitting above them to fall and re-arrange into potential further wins, but there are no additional symbols that enter the reels from the top as this would be counterproductive to the aim of clearing the entire screen.
Character Powers
Each character featured in Moon Princess Power of Love has their own power, which can be activated randomly on non-winning base game spins or seen in the Love Triangle and Free Spins bonus. These powers are as described below:
- Love: Coverts one set of symbols present on the grid into another symbol.
- Blaze: Adds between two to four symbols to the grid. These added symbols are guaranteed to match a symbol already present on the reels.
- Hail: Synchronizes the symbols across two reels
Meter & Love Triangle
A meter containing three sections can be seen displayed to the left of the grid. This is filled by any wins consisting of character symbols. A three-symbol win will fill one section, a four-symbol win will fill two sections, and a five-symbol win will fill all three sections in one go.
If the meter is successfully filled, this will activate the Love Triangle feature, awarding one free round during which Love, Blaze, and Hail will all perform their respective powers. If all symbols are removed from the grid during this feature, the free spins bonus will be triggered.
Multiplier
Any winning cascade win increases the multiplier value displayed in the top left of the screen. This value begins at x1 and can rise to as high as x100. It is reset between spins during the base game but will hold in the free spins feature.
Clearing The Grid
If all symbols are cleared from the grid within any standard base game spin, a prize of 50x the total stake value will be paid. This prize value will also be multiplied by the current value of the multiplier located in the top left corner of the screen.

Once the grid is cleared during the Love Triangle feature, the free spins bonus will be triggered, and four free spins will be awarded. The player will then need to choose between Blaze or Hail, and that character will perform their ability during any non-winning free spin; they will then be followed by Love, who will unleash her power.

The multiplier value built up during the trigger will be carried across into the free spins round, where it can continue to grow. Crucially, it does not reset during the bonus, holding between spins. If the meter is filled during any spin, an additional three spins will be awarded, up to a maximum of 100 free spins in total.

Moon Princess Power Of Love Slot Review Final Thoughts
I’ve always enjoyed the mechanics and gameplay style used in The Moon Princess and similarly formatted games, so Power of Love was bound to be a winner in my books. Play n Go hasn’t made any major changes to previous efforts, the main tweaks being the double character activation in the free spins, the higher max win, and the implementation of the x100 multiplier, which is also seen in the 100 series games. There's probably not enough change here as there could have been, but whether or not that’s a bad thing is subjective. Overall, this is a welcome addition to the Moon Princess collection.
