Octobeer Fortunes Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Most of you will have heard of the famous German beer festival known as Oktoberfest, but just in case you have not, I have linked to their official website for you there. This event used to be held exclusively in Munich, Bavaria, in Germany each year but has since spread worldwide. There are now countless satellite beer festivals held in cities around Europe (and even one or two on other continents as well!) every October. It’s a great event that has helped significantly with spreading modern German culture around the globe. There have been one or two earlier attempts at making an online slot based around Oktoberfest, so I guess the question is, how does Pragmatic Play’s attempt compare with those?
The highest paying symbol on the paytable is the barrel of beer, and it has a return of 15x your stake for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind. Predictably, the stein is next and immediately halves the payoff to just 7.5x, whilst the hat pays 6x, the accordion pays 4.5x, and the pretzel pays 3x. The money collection symbol and feature have some higher payout possibilities, including wins of 10x, 20x, and 50x your bet, but these are much rarer than regular symbol wins, of course. The wild has no payout of its own, instead paying the same 15x that the barrel of beer symbol does, but I guess you can’t have everything!
And over to the stake selection part of the game, which uses the familiar three control setup that Pragmatic Play loves to use, despite the fact it is pretty pointless as you can simply control your overall total bet using just the plus and minus controls at the bottom of the screen. Money Collection Feature
Whenever one or more MONEY symbols land at the same time as a WILD symbol, it will trigger the money collection feature. Each MONEY symbol will award a random value picked from the following possible amounts: 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7.5x, 10x, 20x, or 50x your bet.

Still, it’s a fun break from the base game all the same, and my only real complaint is that your winnings will be capped at 4,500x if you hit that number, and any remaining free spins will be forfeited.
