Game Overview

I don’t think there is any other game developer that creates the hype and rise of anticipation levels with its slot releases more than Nolimit City. Whether that suspense is due to the dark and controversial themes, the crazy mechanics and innovative features, high volatility, or epic potential payouts, I guess it’s all down to us as individuals as to what we look for in an online slot game that makes NLC stand out so much. For me, it’s a combination of all the above that has me eagerly waiting to see what the next release will bring. Well, here it is, as Outsourced is the latest title to come off the conveyor belt at Nolimit City, featuring 4-reels, 256 ways to win, a 96.08% RTP, and a 50,000x maximum win.

Speaking of conveyor belts, Nolimit City has gone with a factory/sweatshop theme for its latest release, something I’d like to applaud. Any awareness raised about the low wages, dangerous working conditions, long hours, and high temperatures that people are enduring in sweatshops in poorer countries is fine by me. As for the features, there’s a mix of xWays, xNudges, bonus games, Booster Bets and Bonus Buy options you’ve come to expect from Nolimit City, but the big talking point is the Slash Win feature. Should you win the slot’s 5,000x stake standard max win, you can gamble it via a Crash Game-like feature that could land you up to 50,000x or nothing at all.

Our full review will explain that feature and the rest of the slot in detail. However, as I’m sure most of you will prefer, you can play the Outsourced slot demo below to see all the features for yourself.

Outsourced slot theme, stakes, pays & symbols

I doubt any of you are surprised about the out-of-the-box theme used for Outsourced, as, let’s face it, it’s something Nolimit City is famed for. After all, the developer has brought us slots such as Possessed, themed on a girl under the spell of a demon; Kenneth Must Die, which portrays Barbie and Ken like never seen before; and Serial, which, as the name might suggest, follows the escapades of a crazed serial killer. Phew, quite the themes there, NLC, so make sure you go and see what these releases have to offer when you’ve finished playing and reading about Outsourced today.

Next, it’s onto the pays section, and a quick look at the paytable of Outsourced will hardly instil confidence in any big payouts on this slot, as they’re all on the small side. However, you’ll see why that’s the case when I get into all the bonus features and mechanics shortly. As for the wins themselves, the Doll’s Head returns 0.50x for four in a row; the Video Game is worth up to 0.25x, and the SneakerAlien Head, and Robotic Hand all share returns of 0.15x for a full line of four. The AceKingQueen, and Jack represent the low pays, all with equal payouts of 0.05x, while the Wild symbol will deliver a 0.50x payout if lined up four times across a payline.

One thing that usually remains consistent across Nolimit City slots is the staking options they support. Once again, you can bet from a minimum of €0.20 per spin on Outsourced up to a maximum of €100.00.

Outsourced slot base game & modifiers

Outsourced Slot base game

Gird-style slots have become increasingly popular, but you rarely see a 4×4 reel configuration like that used on Outsourced. Across those reels and rows are 256 ways to win, although xWays symbols, as usual on Nolimit City slots, can increase those ways to win as the spins progress. A minimum of three matching symbols across those paylines from left to right will create a winning combination.

Print Spins

Print Spins kick into action after every winning spin on Outsourced’s reels. Essentially, this is a cascading reel mechanic combined with re-spins. All symbols involved in a winning combination are removed so that more can drop onto the grid, and a re-spin occurs. All the positions that held a winning regular symbol during a spin will have their multiplier value increased 1x for every consecutive re-spin. If an xWays symbol falls into a position holding a multiplier, its own multiplier is multiplied by that value.

xways symbols

When xWays symbols land on the reels, they reveal between two and four of a low or medium-value regular symbol or a one-seized blocker symbol. All instances of an xWays symbol reveal the same symbol.

xtra spins

At the end of a spin, you may be offered the opportunity to purchase an additional spin. You are not obliged to take up the offer, but should you decide to do so, that spin will take place with all previous multiplier values held from the previous spin. The spin cost is determined by those values currently on the reels.

god mode & slash win

God Mode is the name given to a spin that randomly spins in the M, A, K, and S symbols, delivering the slot’s default max win (or MAKS Win) of 5,000x the stake. However, as mentioned in the intro, that max win could go up to a maximum of 50,000x.

That is possible via the Slash Game feature, similar to a Crash Game such as Aviator. If you choose to use this feature, you will gamble your 5,000x MAKS Win to win up to 50,000x. The multiplier continues to rise until one of three things happens. It reaches that 50,000x max multiplier win, you click the stop button to claim the current max win, or it crashes down, and you win nothing (losing your previous 5,000x win). It’s a game of wits that could leave you with nothing more than you previously won or that mega maximum win of 50,000x the stake.

There are three bet booster options to consider on Outsourced.

Spins with 5x Multipliers: 90x purchases a spin with 5x multipliers already on all reel positions.

xBet Spins: Costing 1.5x the current stake, xBet spins have four times the chance to trigger the free spins bonus. That is because each spin is guaranteed to land a scatter symbol on the second reel.

Spins with 2x Multipliers: For 5x the current stake, you can spin with 2x multipliers already on all reel positions.

Outsourced Slot
Outsourced Slot free spins feature

A free spins bonus game, Nolimit City’s boosters, and buy bonus options are the remaining features to discuss in the Outsourced slot. Let’s get stuck into these below and see what they have to offer.

sweatshop and sweatiershop free spins feature

While each free spins configuration has different names, they’re really the same bonus game, just with a different number of spins. You’ll receive 3 free spins if 3 scatter symbols land on the reels during the base game and 5 spins if 4 trigger the feature.

There’s nothing overly special about the free spins aside from them being free, and they carry on with the multipliers currently achieved on the triggering base game spin.

bonus buy

As for the bonus buy options, you can consider the following:

Sweatshop Free Spins: For 60x the stake, you can purchase the Sweatshop Free Spins bonus.

Sweatiershop Free Spins: it costs 200x the current bet to purchase the Sweatiershop free spins bonus.

Lucky Draw: For 130x, you receive one of the free spins bonus games with a 50/50 chance of which one it is.

God Mode Gamble: For 1,300x the current spin bet, you receive a spin guaranteed to land the M, A, and K symbols. If it also reveals the S symbol, you win the MAKS Win of 5,000x the stake.

Slash Game: This is the big one, costing 5,000x the current bet. This triggers the Slash Game, which allows you to gamble for a win of up to 50,000x the stake.

Pros

  • Have the option to gamble the 5,000x maximum win to win up to 50,000x.
  • Excellent theme.

Cons

  • Various RTP models are available, which reach as low as 87.08%.

Outsourced slot review final thoughts

From the killer soundtrack to the mass of modifiers and bonus features, Nolimit City has cranked up the heat in Outsourced to stimulate the senses of players to the maximum.

Yes, the Slash Game will undoubtedly cause a stir, but hey, isn't NLC's middle name controversial? Whichever way you look at it, this is a game that's going to get plenty of spins and lots of people talking about it.
