So, what’s changed? Well, a few of the features, such as the Cash Coins mechanic that can pay up to 1,000x the stake and the Blitz Spinz bonus game, have returned, while there is a new 4-stage Free Spinz bonus feature which could unlock win multipliers of up to 50x. Aside from those, it’s pretty much the same as before.

Like the original, Piggy Blitz Disco Gold is played out across a 6×4 reel configuration with 4,096 ways to win. Aside from the Diamond symbols, which require two or more, you’ll need to land three or more of all other symbols to complete a winning combination. Players can spin the piggy Blitz Disco Gold reels for stakes of 0.10 per spin up to 100.00.
Cash Coins
Cash Coins can appear on the reels, holding regular values of between 0.5x and 25x the stake or the Minor (100x), Major (250x), or Mega (1,000x) jackpots. They’re awarded when Piggy Bank symbols land on each of the first and last reels on the same spin. As they’re both Collect symbols, the values on the reels are collected twice.
If the Piggy Bank symbols appear but there are no cash values on the reels, they’re locked in place while all other positions are given a re-spin. That obviously gives you another chance to land some instant prizes.
Gold Piggy
If Cash symbols appear but no Piggy Banks land, they are collected by the Gold Piggy above the reels. When that happens, there’s a chance the Gold Piggy will reward a random prize of between 10x and 5,000x the stake.
Free Spins
When three or more scatter symbols appear anywhere in view, players are given a choice of two bonus games to trigger. If you can’t decide or want to leave it to fate, there’s also a Mystery Option that decides for you.
Blitz Spins
You receive 5, 10, 15, or 20 free spins in return for landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols, respectively. During this feature, the Piggy banks are guaranteed to land on every spin, and only Cash Coins and Blanks can appear in the other positions. There’s also a special 150x the stake Cash Coin that can land.
Free Spinz
Again, you’re given 5, 10, 15, or 20 free spins in return for landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols, respectively. During this bonus, only the Top-paying Diamond symbol and all the Royals can appear, meaning the Cash Collect mechanic is no longer active.
Each spin has a multiplier within a range depending on the current level. New levels are unlocked every 4 scatters that are collected from the reels, and each contains a higher range of potential win multipliers and awards free spins.
- Stage 1: Multipliers can be 1x, 2x, or 3x, and you start with the free spins you received when triggering the bonus.

Piggy Blitz Disco Gold might not completely shake off the shadow of its predecessor, but it definitely tries to make amends. The familiar mechanics return, like the Cash Coins and Blitz Spinz bonuses, but with the addition of a fresh four-stage free spins feature that introduces climbing multipliers, there’s at least some new excitement for those willing to give it a shot. It’s better than the original, in my opinion, but not by a huge margin.
