Pirate Bonanza Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
While the Pirate theme is one you’ll come across on many slot games, it’s been a while since I last reviewed one. Well, at least it feels that way, as I cannot remember any off the top of my head. A look back through shows that Cannonball Cash from Red Tiger Gaming was the latest, and now it makes sense why I didn’t remember – it’s pretty lacklustre. The best I’ve played is probably Elk Studios Dead Man’s Gold, a slot with up to 262,144 paylines, giant symbols, win multipliers, and a free spins bonus. I’m certainly hoping Pirate Bonanza is as good or perhaps even better than that slot, purely because there are not many other pirate-themed slots I’d consider worthwhile playing.

Tumble Wins & The Cannon Feature
Winning combinations are removed from the reels, allowing new symbols and those still on the reels to tumble down to fill the vacated positions. This cascading mechanism can lead to additional wins, and the process can be repeated.
However, this tumble feature differs from others in that the reel positions involved in winning combinations become highlighted. - Golden Multiplier Bombs: These have values of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x, and they are used to ‘multiply’ the global win multiplier.

Pirate Bonanza has opted for a highlighted position mechanic with multipliers in an attempt to achieve that, and in all honesty, it can throw up some big multiplier wins. Is that mechanic enough to pull you away from the other big contenders in this genre? I guess that will come down to personal preference.
