I remember back in the 1990s when the internet was still in its infancy; there would be a lot of talk on “tomorrow’s world” style television programs about being able to order yourself a pizza whilst watching an on-demand movie – all from your television remote control. It’s fascinating to see just how accurate predictions such as these have turned out to be in 2022. The top symbol is a rather crude depiction of a pizza, paying 10x the current stake for a full payway of five-of-a-kind. There’s a single, lonely olive, paying 2.5x the bet for a full payway and a rather sorry-looking single mushroom with the same value of 2.5x for all five. There’s no cash reward for either the scatter or wilds, unfortunately, but that is something that is becoming frustratingly common in online slots nowadays.

Running this game on my regular laptop, the pizza slice is always displayed with the smaller end at the bottom of the display. If you opt to use a mobile device, however, the orientation of the slice will change in accordance with the landscape/portrait setting of your display. This is important because the smaller end of the slice is regarded as being the “left” of the reel set when calculating your winnings.
Ante Bet
For an additional cost of 25% above the normal price per spin, you can choose to add many additional scatter symbols to the reels for better odds of winning the free spins. The game does not specify exactly how much greater your odds are when activating the ante bet, but the RTP of 96.04% remains the same either way. This suggests that the increase is likely around 25%, matching the cost of the feature.

You’ll need to hit at least three scatter symbols to win yourself some free spins. Ten spins are awarded for a minimum trigger combination of three symbols, whilst four or five will award 15 or 20 free spins, respectively.
Free Spins
During this mode, the chilli symbols are transformed into “money” symbols”, and can be worth between 2x and 2,000x your entire stake each time one lands on the reel set. To collect the value of these symbols, however, you will also need to land a wild symbol on the same spin. This is similar to how the fisherman symbol will collect the value of the fish in the Big Bass Bonanza games from Pragmatic Play.
The free spins feature also includes a golden wild symbol that will significantly increase the size of the pizza slice to include all of the previously greyed-out sections. This allows you to collect the value of money symbols that were previously unavailable, but the greyed-out area does return in between spins once the collection phase has been completed.
The free spins feature can also be re-triggered by collecting wild symbols whilst the bonus round is in play. For every four wilds, you collect, an additional ten free spins will be awarded with an increased multiplier. You can re-trigger the bonus rounds up to three times, resulting in 10 free spins being awarded with a maximum multiplier of 10x.
Chilli Sauce Modifier
If a wild collector symbol lands in view during the free spins, but there are no chilli symbols on the reels, then the chilli sauce modifier may activate. This will put random chilli cash symbols on the reels for you to collect and win.

The cost to purchase a bonus round in PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA has been set at a very fair 100x, the normal price of a spin. The number of triggering scatter symbols is determined randomly after purchasing the feature, but I only received three scatter symbols during my testing. This didn’t matter, however, as I still made a profit on a significant number of attempts.

I love the presentation of this game, although I must admit that my winnings were all over the place during the time that I was writing this review.
