Just hearing Pick ‘n Mix brought me back to my childhood, when my mother would take me to the local newsagent (a shop that sells newspapers, sweets, and other stuff) and let me pick and mix all my favourite penny (1p) sweets. Good times! SG Gaming has done something similar with Rainbow Riches Pick ‘n Mix, a slot that lets you pick the bonus games you want active during your session. I’ll tell you more about that shortly, but let’s get the basics out of the way for now. Rainbow Riches Pick ‘n Mix is a 5×3 slot with 20 paylines and an RTP of 94% or 96%, depending on the size of your stake.
As for those bonus features, there are five in total, and you can choose to have between one and three active during your spins. There are 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 paylines on the Rainbow Riches Pick ‘n Mix slot, and winning combinations form when 3 or more matching symbols land across one of those paylines. There’s not much going on in the regular base game besides a wild symbol that substitutes for all paying symbols when winning combinations are possible.
Premium Play
However, there is a Premium Play mode that gives players a better chance of triggering the bonus games. You can activate this feature and spin for €2.00, €5.00, or €10.00 on a 3×1 reel configuration, and matching three symbols across the payline will trigger a bonus game or 5 Mega Spins.
If triggered, most bonus games are played at a stake, with spins, multipliers, and rewards worth 60 times more than the minimum stake. The exceptions are the free spins and Mega Spins, which are played at 3 times the minimum stake.

Without a doubt, the selling point of the Rainbow Riches Pick ‘n Mix slot is the bonus games you can pick and choose to be available for triggering. - Pots of Gold: Three or four Pot of Gold scatters award the standard bonus or a super version, respectively. The Super version has bigger multiplier rewards. This is a simple bonus as Gold, Silver, and Bronze pots swirl around the screen before coming to a halt and revealing multiplier prizes. An arrow points to the value you win.Free Spins: You receive 10, 20, or 30 free spins when 3, 4, or 5 Free Spins scatter symbols land anywhere in view. During this feature, the Free Spins scatter is stacked on reel 1 and now acts as a wild symbol.
- Cash Crop: Three of the Cash Drop scatter symbols reward the standard bonus, while four will trigger the Super Cash Drop bonus game. 50 coins spin to reveal blanks or multiplier values of 1x the stake. The multiplier values are collected and added to a multiplier meter. Now, a large coin flips to reveal ‘Collect’ or ‘Go On’. If ‘Collect’, you’re paid the multiplier in the meter, and the bonus ends. If ‘Go On’ is revealed, you play again, but this time at Level 2 with higher multiplier values of 2x. It’s possible to reach level 3, where the best multipliers of 5x and 10x reside. The Super variation of this bonus guarantees a ‘Go On’ at the end of the first round.
- Magic Toadstool: Three Magic Toadstool scatters get you the standard bonus, which guarantees a win of at least 8x the stake, while four get you the super version, which guarantees at least 50x. You receive three picks from 24 toadstools that reveal cash prizes as a multiplier of your stake or Fairies. The latter gives you three additional picks and a multiplier where the fairy appeared.
