Cascading Reels
Integral to the gameplay on Reactoonz is the cascading reels mechanic, which comes to life whenever a winning connection is made within the grid. Initially, the winning symbols are removed from the playfield, with the remaining symbols falling down to fill the spaces this has created. New symbols then drop from above to fill all remaining gaps on the reels. If a new win is made, then the process will continue.
Instability
On any initial losing spin on Reactoonz there is a chance that 4 to 8 wild symbols will be added to the grid to help you try and establish your first winning cascade. This can be a nice little leg up on trying to trigger your first quantum feature.
Quantum Leap Charger
The key to success on Reactoonz is in hitting the reel cascades, as this will help to fill the quantum leap charge meter that is located at the top right-hand side of the reels. If you hit consecutive wins and use 25 symbols in making those wins, then you will fill a charge level on the meter, and this will award you a random quantum feature that will be used once you fail to make a new winning connection. The modifiers are as follows:
- Implosion: Transforms 3 – 6 symbols into wild symbols and also destroys all adjacent symbols.
- Demolition: This will destroy all one-eyed symbols and all matching symbols.
- Incision: Triggering this feature will put a wild symbol in the centre of the grid, creating two intersecting diagonal lines. Both lines will then show the same random symbol.
- Alteration: This will choose a random one-eyed symbol. Those symbols will then transform into another randomly selected symbol from the paytable. If there are no one-eyed symbols on the grid, then any other random symbol will be chosen.
Reactoonz Gargantoon Feature
Filling all 5 quantum meters will result in this slot’s main highlight, which is the unleashing of the Gargantoon. A 3×3 wild symbol will be placed randomly on the grid, and although, on occasion, it can lead to smaller disappointing wins, it has the capability of paying you a significant amount if you can connect with some premium paying symbols. It doesn’t end there. Once this win has been paid, the Gargntoon will split into two 2×2 wild symbols and present you with more ways to win.
