There are just five pay lines, and the 94.80% RTP is way below the 96% average. The winnings cap of 2,500x is fine, but there is no clue as to how realistic hitting it might be.
These style of slots often lack features, and I was expecting a similar situation with Respin 7’s. In reality, the game includes a respin bonus triggered by hitting four or more lucky seven symbols – I guess the name makes sense now! There is also a main free spin bonus round, a second chance feature, and the ability to trigger the re-spin bonus with additional modifiers from inside the free spins themselves. That doesn’t seem like a terrible package, in my view!

Respin 7s Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I’ll bet most of you can guess what theme Inspired has gone for when decorating this old school classic slot! Yes, it’s another fruit-themed machine covered in cherries, plums, and oranges, alongside typical “fruity” symbols such as bells and lucky sevens. There’s nothing interesting or inspired about the art style the developer has used – it looks very much like most other fruit-themed games. Whilst this type of look undoubtedly suits classic games, it wouldn’t kill the developers to opt for something different once in a while, would it? The look and feel of this game have not advanced much past the days of the original Liberty Bell machines that were around in the earliest days of slot machines!
Perhaps I am being harsh -The features and payout mechanics are clearly worlds apart from those older slots. Take the paytable, for example; topping the list is the lucky seven and lucky seven wild, both of which pay 200x your bet for five-of-a-kind. Wins are paid for combinations in both directions here too, which is a major plus that effectively doubles the number of pay lines to ten. The bell sits in the second spot, paying 100x your bet for all five, whilst the plum returns 50x, the orange returns 30x, and the cherries are worth 20x your stake for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind. Note that winning lines do not pay twice when hitting five-of-a-kind, unlike other games that pay in both directions.
The minimum Bet is just €0.20 per spin, although I feel that that number could easily have been even lower if the developer had wanted to offer low rollers the option of betting €0.05 or €0.10 per spin. The max bet of €100.00 should be more than enough for fans of classic slots – these machines often had a max win of €100 when they originally appeared in bars and pubs during the previous century!
Base Game & Modifiers
So that’s the basics out of the way – how does it play? Well, it’s a five by three-reel game like so many other games, but with just five fixed paylines, you should expect to hit winning combinations much less frequently than you would when playing a ten or twenty line game. The pays both ways mechanic does help to improve things here, but it comes with a matching reduction in the size of the base game wins.
Respin Feature
Any four lucky seven symbols in any position during the base game will trigger a free re-spin with all lucky sevens locked in place. If any other lucky sevens land during the free re-spin, another re-spin will be awarded. This continues until no more lucky sevens appear or the screen is full!
Bonus Spin Chance
This is an interesting one that I don’t recall ever seeing in an online slot before! If your balance falls below the cost of your next spin, the game will offer you the chance to bet your remaining credit for the opportunity to win an additional spin at the same price as your current wager. It’s a shame Inspired could not offer
Respin 7s Slot Free Spins Feature
So many classic slots opt to omit any kind of proper major bonus round as those types of features simply weren’t possible in the days that these games were originally popular. Now, of course, it’s nothing but a matter of preference on the part of the developer.
Free Spins Feature
You’ll need to hit a lucky seven on every reel to trigger the free spin feature, which grants five full free spins in addition to your regular line wins. Lucky sevens are wild during this part of the game.
Free Spin Respins Feature
You can even win some free re-spins whilst inside the free spin’s bonus, although it plays identically to the regular base game re-spins with the exception of the wild lucky seven symbols.

This is a fantastic effort for a classic slot – there’s just enough to keep a slot fan happy, perhaps even including many of those who would not normally consider playing this type of game. For those who enjoy this type of game, you’d be mad to miss this one.
