Game Overview
You can always count on Blueprint Gaming if you enjoy playing branded slots. Sure, some hit the mark more than others, but in general, the developer comes up with feature-packed titles that offer great gameplay and top-notch graphics. Rick and Morty Strike Back is the latest of these, and once again, the slot features some fantastic bonus features, offers highly engaging gameplay, and looks great on all devices. Rick and Morty Strike Back is a 6×4 slot with a 95% RTP and a 10,000x the stake max win.
I mentioned the slot has a bunch of exciting features, and the first of these is a cash collect feature that could award cash prizes or even fixed jackpots of up to 2,500x the stake. Furthermore, there’s a handful of different modifiers that can trigger randomly, and should you land enough scatter symbols, there are four different bonus games to choose from. Only two are available from the start, but the other two unlock once you’ve played the other two.
Whether you’re a big fan of the comedy duo or just want a new slot to check out, take the Rick and Morty Strike Back slot demo for a few spins below.
Rick & Morty Strike Back Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The savvy slot players amongst you will know that this is the third Rick and Morty slot from Blueprint, following Rick and Morty Megaways and Rick and Morty Wubba Lubba Dub Dub. However, if you’ve played those and want to check out some other branded slots from Blueprint Gaming, I’d recommend starting with Inspector Gadget and The Flintstones. While different in theme, of course, both have a ton of features and offer plenty of entertainment.
Returning to Rick and Morty Strike Back, the next port of call is to analyse the slot’s paytable. The Scatter symbols offer the best payouts as well as triggering the bonus games, with six anywhere in view returning 500x the stake, which is far greater than anything else on the reels. The two Rick symbols and the Rick and Morty Logo come next, paying up to 5x, with Summer Smith and Beth Smith following both with equal returns of 2.5x. The Gerry Smith character and Mr Poopy wrap up the premium section, both sharing a 2x top payout. That just leaves the lower pays where the Ace and King both return up to 1.5x, the Queen and Jack share a 1.2x top payout, and the Ten is worth up to 1x.
We’ll end this part of the review with the betting selection, and the minimum price to play Rick and Morty Strike Back is just €0.10 a spin, whilst the maximum stake goes up to €25.00 a spin. There are 23 stakes in between those values, so there’s plenty of scope to fine tune your desired spin bet.
Rick & Morty Strike Back Slot Base Game & Modifiers
There is a 6-reel and 4-row gaming matrix in play on the Rick and Morty Strike Back slot, and across it are 4,096 ways to win. Lining up two or more matching premium symbols or three or more low-value symbols on consecutive reels from left to right will reward a payout.
Cash Collect
Cash symbols can appear on the reels, and you’ll win those values whenever a Collect symbol lands on the first or last reel. The collects will also pay you when the Cashpot Mini (20x), Major (200x), and Mega (2,500x) fixed jackpots.
Portal Strike
Triggered randomly on any spin, a Portal gun can appear to give you a chance to trigger one of the following modifiers:
- Morty Moolah: This adds additional Cash symbols to the reels.
- Bonus Blast: This will add at least 1 scatter symbol in any position on the reels.
- Cosmic Cash: All cash symbols have their values increased.
- Rick Repeat: The reels receive a re-spin with all cash symbols held in place. The re-spins continue until no new instances of cash symbols land on the reels.
- Schwitty Add: This collects all cash symbols up to 5 times in total.
Another random modifier can trigger randomly on the Rick and Morty Strike Back slot. Following a non-winning spin, Rick can appear to transform symbols to guarantee a win.
Rick & Morty Strike Back Slot Bonus Features
There are four different bonus games to choose from, but in the beginning, you can only pick from the Rick C-137 and Morty Spins bonus games. The others unlock once you’ve played both features during your session. You’ll need to land three or more scatter symbols anywhere in view to have your pick of the bonus games.
Bonuses
- Evil Morty Free Spins: This is identical to the regular Morty Spins bonus game, but landing the Evil Morty symbol triggers one of three modifiers. It can ‘Boost’ all cash values in view, increase all cash values to be equal to the highest on the reels, or collect all Cash prizes before adding them to the Collect symbol.
- Rick C-137 Free Spins: This is a free spins bonus with a progression trail. All Cash, Cashpot, and Collect symbols no longer appear on the reels, and a Rick C-137 symbol replaces the slot’s top-paying symbol. Wild symbols are collected when they land, and every three increases the payout offered by the Rick C-137 symbol. You’ll receive an additional 4, 8, 12, 20, or 30 free spins if 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters land on a free spin.
- Morty Free Spins: You receive an initial spin on reels that only contain the Cash, Cashpot, Collect, and Morty Multiplier symbols. The Collect and at least one Cash or Cashpot symbol is guaranteed to land on every spin, meaning you’re guaranteed a win. At the end of the spin, you pick a Portal to reveal an extra spin or ‘Collect’, with the latter ending the bonus game. The Morty Multipliers multiply the win received on a spin.
- Rick Prime Free Spins: You receive 8 free spins of reels that no longer contain the cash and collect symbols, and the Rick Prime becomes the new top-paying symbol. Wilds are collected; for every three, you receive an additional two free spins, and all instances of the lowest-value symbol are removed from the reels. You’ll also receive an additional 4, 8, 12, 20, or 30 free spins if 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters land on a free spin.
Pros
- Four bonus games can be played.
- Excellent design and production of the slot.
Cons
- Could it have included a bonus buy?
Rick & Morty Strike Back Slot Review Final Thoughts
Blueprint’s branded slots usually offer up plenty of fun and a long list of bonus features, and Rick and Morty Strike Back is more of the same. I’ll admit I’m not the biggest fan of the television show, but I certainly enjoyed the slot.
