The cat may be the underdog in this story, but he’s certainly the top dog in the online slots industry overall! The highest-paying symbols on the paytable are the two wild symbols, both of which have a return of 25x the current bet for a full payline of five of a kind. The eight ball takes the second place spot at 20x for all five symbols, whilst the familiar “rave smilie” and a pair of dice are next, paying 17.5x for a complete payline. There are two more high-paying symbols – a candle and a banana – both of which will pay you 15x your bet should all five lands on a payline. The five lower-paying royals range in value from 5x to 10x the bet for five of a kind. While these returns may not seem particularly impressive, keep in mind that the multiplier wilds can increase the value of any symbol on the paytable by as much as 200x, making a 5,000x payline possible.

Base Game & Modifiers
The base game of RIP City utilises a 5×5 playfield. This isn’t so strange in itself, but most games that feature a reel set of this size opt to use payways instead of paylines. With just 19 paylines available on which to score a win, you will inevitably find yourself hitting more than a few combinations which you will expect to result in a win yet do not. All winning combinations require at least three matching symbols starting from the left.
Wild Cat Symbol
The wild cat appears as a standard 1×1 symbol but will expand into a full-height stacked wild if doing so will create at least one winning combination. Expanded wild cats count as a wild on every position they expand to cover, as opposed to a single large wild symbol.
Wild Symbol
If the wild cat happens to expand through a regular wild symbol, it will transform into a multiplier that applies to all combinations that pass through the expanded wild cat. This multiplier can be worth 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, or 200x. If a winning payline passes through more than one multiplier wild cat symbol, then their values will be added together before being applied to the overall win.
Rip City Slot Bonus Features
Landing three free spin scatter symbols during the base game will award the RO$$ Bonus Feature, whilst four or more will award the more generous MAXX Bonus Feature instead. Both of these features are free spin bonus rounds that start with ten spins each.
Ro$$ Bonus Feature
The first free spin bonus round plays out much like the base game, the main difference being that you have much greater odds of hitting the two types of wild symbol in this mode. Hitting three scatters whilst the feature is in play will add four more free spins to your remaining counter, whilst hitting four or more scatters will award the MAXX bonus after the current set of free spins has been completed.
Maxx Bonus Feature
The Maxx bonus is the more generous bonus round of the two and comes with a reel activation feature. A reel becomes activated whenever a wild cat symbol lands on any of its positions, after which a new wild cat symbol is guaranteed to land on that reel on every spin for the remainder of the bonus round.
