For one, modern depictions of the Samurai Warrior almost always have them wielding the Samurai sword as their weapon of choice. In fact, they were trained archers and horsemen who only used the Samurai sword as a last resort. Anyhow, I don’t want to overly destroy the romanticism often attached to the Samurai, or else you might decide against playing the slot demo I’m about to review. Coming up is a review of Pragmatic Play’s Rise of Samurai IV slot, which, as the title suggests, is the fourth Rise of Samurai slot in the series. Rise Of Samurai Iv Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
The Samurai have been used for many a slot theme, not just in the Rise of Samurai series. Thunderkick’s Sword of Shoguns is a slot we rated highly in our review, while Bushido Princess Megaways is another title that earned a high score. This time around, in Rise of Sumarai IV, two game modes are offered before you enter the slot, where you can choose to side with the Date or Sanada clans. The symbols in both modes are essentially the same, just different colours. So, somewhat expected, you have a Samurai Warrior and the Wild symbol as the joint top-payers rewarding 20x the stake or a five of a kind win. The Samurai Masks and Swords pay up to 10x, whilst the Chests and Drums pay a maximum of 5x for a completed line of five. The Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten represent the lower pays, and all return a payout of 1x the stake if five are part of a winning combo.
Pragmatic Play is one of the more predictable when it comes to staking options. As on many other video slots from the prominent software developer, you can bet between a minimum of €0.10 a spin with the upper limit reaching a maximum of €100.00.

In all honesty, I couldn't see much difference between the two modes; both bonus rounds usually paid me very little. However, you can see the potential, as all it takes is a high-ranking wild expanding multiplier in an early reel position to start bringing in more significant win multipliers. The wild expanding multipliers also help to add potential to a base game that would otherwise bore. Overall, while not my favourite in the series, that’s Rise of Sumurai Megaways, Rise of Samurai IV is another top effort from Pragmatic Play.
