Game Overview
The gold mining themed video slot Rolling in Gold is the creation of developer Blueprint Gaming. Players are treated to a display of outstanding graphics and catchy audio throughout this game, as well as two bonus features that can be triggered over the 6 reel and 2,304 payline layout. First up is the Gold Spins, where landing additional nuggets will award cash amounts and reset your respin total. The Diamond Spins are arguably the most lucrative though, where a 10x multiplier can spring into action to reward big wins.

Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Humans have long had a passion for the precious metal gold, and non more so than back in the Californian Gold Rush in the 1800s. This is where we imagine that Blueprint have taken us for their beautifully designed slot Rolling in Gold. The actual action takes place deep in the mine where golden nuggets glitter around the slot reels, and of course there is the obligatory banjo helping to supply the soundtrack to the game.
Manoeuvring our way around the paytable, we can see that the low value symbols are made up of gems coloured blue, orange and red as well as a pickaxe, miners helmet and lantern. The premium paying symbols on the game are the donkey, bag of gold, mining cart and the prospector, where a 6 of kind win will pay 2.5x, 2.5x, 5x and 15x respectively.
Playing Rolling in Gold can take place for as little as €0.10 a spin, with the highest stake on the game reaching €10 a play. Those who like to look a little deeper into the in-game stats, will be pleased to see that the slot has a very respectable RTP of 96.03%. Couple this with a max win of 50,000x bet, and the early signs are looking good for Rolling in Gold.
Base Game & Modifiers
The reel set up on Rolling in Gold is a little different to what you might be use to on other more generic slots. The layout here is one of 6 reels, with rows of symbols that are 3-3-4-4-4 and 4 in height across them respectively. This totals to an active and possible 2,304 ways to win.
Whilst the game has a bit of a Megaways™ feel to it through its design and play, Rolling in Gold is very much its own slot, and the following base game modifier can be randomly triggered on any spin.
Mystery Symbols
The mystery symbol on Rolling in Gold comes in the form of the TNT Barrel. These can land on any position across all 6 reels during any base game spin. Once all of the reels have stopped, then all instances of the barrel will transform into the same randomly chosen symbol from the paytable. Players should note any symbol can be revealed excited the scatter.
Rolling In Gold Free Spin Features
As we mentioned in the intro, there are two bonus features that can be played on Rolling in Gold. The first of these is the Gold Spins, and for this to trigger you will need the dynamite symbols to land on reels 1 and 2, along with a gold cash nugget/diamond symbol on reel 3.
This will then open up a 4×4 grid with any golden nuggets that were a part of the feature trigger remaining in place. You are then awarded with 3 respins that can land additional golden cash nuggets, or diamond symbols. Each time that a new symbol lands within the grid, you respins will be replenished back to 3.
The bonus will end when either your respins have reached zero, or when the grid has been completed with gold nuggets. If you have collected any of the diamonds, then you will then go on to play the Diamond Spin Bonus which we will cover next.
The Diamond Spin Bonus also takes place on a 4×4 grid, however this time there are some major differences compared to the Gold Spins feature. Firstly, you will notice that there is a big diamond multiplier to the left of the reels, this will be the reel that spins first and can award up to x10. Then the diamond symbols will begin to land on the grid, and these can hold a far superior value to what the gold nuggets can in the Gold Spins bonus.
After the diamond symbols have landed, your multiplier will be applied to them. However, they will not stick and remain in place like the gold nuggets do, and your spins will not be replenished each time a diamond lands in view. Once all of your spins have been used up, then the feature will end.
Rolling In Gold Slot Review Final Thoughts
Blueprint Gaming really do know how to make some beautifully designed slots, and Rolling in Gold is another one that fits nicely into this category. The graphics are outstanding and the gameplay keeps you entertained throughout, especially with the chance of entering the Diamond bonus where hitting the x10 could bring untold riches. Overall this a good respin feature slot, and one that we recommend you try out.
