Safari Wilds Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
In the last PG Soft game I reviewed, titled the Cruise Royale slot, I said that the provider often themes its content around Asia or the East, so it’s been nice to add a couple of new games to their portfolio showcasing what else they are capable of. It’s time to focus on what PG’s Safari Wilds slot brings to the table though, and we’re going to kick things off over at the pays section.
Commanding respect at the summit of the paytable is the king of the jungle, the Lion, who will pay 2.5x bet for a six of a kind win. Next, we have the Elephant returning 1.5x, followed by the Giraffe at 1x, then the Zebra at 0.75x, with the remaining premium paying symbols being the Antelope and Meerkat valued at 0.5x and 0.4x, respectively, for a completed line of six. Safari Wilds Slot Base Game & Modifiers
Safari Wilds utilises a 5x5x6x6x5x5 reel formation, which allows the slot game to deliver up to 22,500 ways to win on every spin. A winning combination is formed when at least three matching symbols land on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel first. Any win connection formed will activate the cascading reels mechanic, eliminating all symbols involved in the win and replacing them with new ones.
Multiplier
At the start of every round, a win multiplier at the bottom of the reels will begin at x1. Each successful reel cascade will increase this multiplier to the next position on the meter, with the maximum value on the base game being x5. Once you fail to hit a new winning combo, the meter will reset to x1.
Wild Transformation Reels
When a winning combo is formed, all symbols involved on reels 3 and 4 will be transformed into wilds for the cascade that follows, giving you a better chance to hit a new win with a higher value multiplier in play.
Safari Wilds Slot Bonus Features
If four scatter symbols land in view during the base, then the bonus round will be triggered and 12 free spins awarded, with each scatter that hits thereafter adding an extra 2 spins to the starting total.
Free Spins Feature
The free spins bonus plays precisely the same as the base game, but all multipliers under the reels are now doubled, with a maximum value of 10x now achievable.
