The term “monster” can be somewhat ambiguous, but the most common interpretation tends to be some kind of beast or creature. Alternatively, objects or even people can be labelled as monsters if they have behaved badly enough! I’m going to take a step back here, though, as I suspect I might be dangerously close to falling into the world’s deepest rabbit hole! Next, let’s find out how QuickSpin’s latest game compares to those previous releases!
The ”Grand Demon” is the highest-paying symbol on the paytable; he’s a scary-looking horned red guy, complete with flames in his mouth, and can pay between 1.5x and 10x your bet depending on the number of scatter symbols which appear on the grid. The “Huge Zombie” is a green fellow that looks suspiciously like Slimer from Ghostbusters and can pay between 1.25x and 5x your stake. Meanwhile, the “Large Vampire” looks like a female with blue hair and has payouts of between 1x and 4x. There are regular versions of each demon, zombie, and vampire, too, with lower maximum payouts of 3x, 2x, or 1.5x, respectively.

Soul Meters
The soul meters are displayed to the left of the main reel set, and each one requires a different number of souls to be filled completely. When filled, the soul meters perform the following actions:
- Vampire Soul Meter: The vampire meter has a purple colour and requires 20 vampire souls to fill. You can collect vampire souls by hitting winning combinations composed of the small, medium, and large vampires shown on the paytable. When filled, all low-value symbols on the screen will be upgraded to high-value symbols. If no low-value symbols are visible, the medium-value symbols will be upgraded instead. It is possible to overfill this meter via the Heaven’s Gift symbol, in which case the feature will trigger multiple times.
- Zombie Soul Meter: When the green zombie meter is filled with 40 souls, it will cause all symbols of a random colour to be removed from the playfield, and their souls will be moved to the corresponding soul meter. This doesn’t seem like much of a feature by itself, but it certainly does help you to fill the other two soul meters!
- Demon Soul Meter: After filling the red demon soul meter with 60 souls, the game will award you eight free spins. Like the other two meters, this one can be overfilled, in which case you will receive one additional free spin for every 25 additional souls above the minimum of 60.
Scatter Monsters Slot Bonus Features
The main free spin bonus round is triggered via the Demon Soul meter, as explained in the previous section. Gathering 60 souls in this meter will award eight free spins, with one additional spin added for every 25 extra souls collected at the time the feature is triggered.

The Demon Soul Meter will continue to be filled whilst this feature is active. Any souls that are present in the meter after each free spin will be converted into a multiplier that will be applied to your winnings from the previous spin:

The beauty of scatter-pay games such as this is that they appeal equally to both new and experienced online slot players.
