The feature set looks small but well-formed. Sinful 7s Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time that the lucky seven has appeared in a devilish context in online slots! Play’N’Go released a game titled “The 7 Deadly Sins” a couple of years back, although, to be fair, that game was probably slightly more original and unique than this one! There are plenty of other devil-themed slots, such as Yggdrasil’s recent Devils Trap online slot. Darker horror-themed games are increasing in popularity at the moment, too, such as The Twin Wins Mystery – give those two a try if you are looking for something spooky to play at Halloween!
Ten-line slots often pay exceptionally well, and Sinful 7’s continues to follow that trend. However, there is a reason for this: these games are much more likely to deliver dead spins than those that use more paylines or payways. The wild symbol pays a heavy premium in Sinful 7’s, with a return of 500x your bet for a single complete payline of five-of-a-kind. A bell – complete with devil eyes – is the highest paying regular symbol and pays much less than the wild at just 100x for a completed pay line. The lucky sevens are next, with three variations sporting triple, double, and single symbols. A five-f-a-kind hit of the triples is worth 25x your bet, compared to 15x or 10x for the doubles and singles, respectively. Any pay line that includes a mix of the symbols will also pay 5x for the maximum of five.
Blueprint seems to go from one extreme to the other with their betting options recently – the last game I reviewed by the developer sported a maximum bet of €400.00 per round, a far cry from the €2.00 maximum bet offered in this game! I can’t help but wonder if that figure will change in the real money version of the game, but for the time being, it appears that €0.10 to €2.00 are the only options available in Sinful 7’s.
Base Game & Modifiers
The five reel, three row setup used by Sinful 7’s is a smart decision for a ten payline game – a larger playfield than this is likely to result in an unacceptable number of dead spins for many players. Even with the ten lines offered here, this game still delivers quite a lot of blank spins, but then again, so do the majority of ten pay line games. That is just the trade that you make, I guess! Thankfully, Blueprint has included a “Spin Boost” feature which can help with this, detailed below:
Spin Boost Feature
The Spin Boost feature will increase the value of any lucky seven symbols which appear as part of a winning pay line to match the highest value seven on the line. For example, if you have a line consisting of four single sevens plus one triple seven, the entire pay line will be upgraded and pay you as if it was a line of triple sevens instead.
Sinful 7s Slot Bonus Features
Hitting three or more scatter symbols anywhere on the reels will trigger the main bonus round, which is a free spins feature. Three scatter symbols will award the minimum of 12 free spins, whilst 18 or 24 free spins can be won for hitting four or five scatter symbols, respectively.
Free Spins
During this mode, the spin boost feature from the base game is enabled free of charge, meaning that any payline containing at least one lucky seven will automatically be upgraded to the highest-paying lucky sevens instead.
Aside from this feature, the free spins work much like the base game, which felt a little disappointing. While I was testing the game, my winnings were not particularly impressive, but I did manage to hit a couple of re-triggers, suggesting that these may not be especially rare. The re-triggers award up to 24 free spins, just like the regular scatters during the base game.
