Game Overview
Climb aboard Santas sleigh and fly above the rooftops, in Slingo Bells from provider Slingo Originals. Complete up to 12 lines on your card with an in-game RTP rate of 95%, and you could be unwrapping festive wins up to the value of 1,000x bet this Christmas.
It’s back to basics in this Slingo title, with the gameplay being stripped back to its original format. So whilst you won’t get to play with any bonus rounds or features, you’ll still get modifiers to help you out in crossing off the positions on your card, and the thrill of waiting upon those last few numbers to help you land a big win is still as real as ever.
Join us and find out if it really is the most magical time of the year in our full review of this title. Get into the festivities even further and try the free play demo of Slingo Bells that’s included in our analysis. This is accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Slingo Bells Theme, Pays, Stakes & Symbols
Not to be mistaken with the iconic Christmas song Jingle Bells that was first published back in 1857, Slingo Originals bring us plenty of festive cheer in their hybrid bingo/slots title named Slingo Bells. Upon the game hitting your screen you’ll be mesmerised with all things all xmas, ranging from a wintery backdrop, to a snug and cosy stocking that’s just waiting to be filled with wins. It just wouldn’t be a Christmas themed game either without an orchestral soundtrack bellowing out, with the sounds of joyful bells jingling throughout the play.
To kick off the yuletide action in the game, you’ll first need to select a playing stake. These range from a minimum of €0.20, up to a maximum of €100, with this buying you 11 spins of the number wheel that’s located at the bottom of your card. Additional spins can be purchased after your initial 11, and we will talk about that more in the next section of the review. Finally we have the return to player percentage on Slingo Bells that comes in at 95%. Although this is still reasonably fair, it is a little low compared to some of the other titles within the Slingo series of games.
Slingo Bells Gameplay & Modifiers
The gameplay on Slingo Bells comes as standard for a Slingo title, with the action taking place across a 5×5 grid that contains 25 random numbers ranging from 1 – 90. With each spin of the number wheel, your aim is to mark off as many of the numbers from within your grid as possible, with each line that you complete moving you 1 position up the prize ladder, and closer to the ultimate goal of 1,000x your stake.
Whilst this may seem like a fairly tricky task, there is some additional help at hand that comes via the number wheel, which can assist you in your journey to the top of the prize table. These are in-game modifiers that posses different abilities, and I’ve listed them below for you so that can see what each one is capable of.

Earlier I talked about having the opportunity to buy extra spins on the number wheel after your initial 11 spins have ended. If you you do choose to purchase more spins, then you need to be aware that at some stage this can potentially get very costly. This is because there isn’t a set amount that it costs for each extra spin, the cost instead will be determined by how many numbers you have already crossed off from the grid, and how far you are up the prize ladder. For you convenience, I have added the prize table below, so that you can see how many winning lines you’ll need for the respective prizes.

Slingo Bells Review Final Thoughts
Slingo Bells may be a fairly generic affair when it comes to the overall gameplay, but the Christmas theme and the usual high levels of development from Slingo Originals make it a title worth checking out nonetheless. I would say though that due to the maximum prize of 1,000x bet, and the jump between that value and 100x on the paytable, it can lead to some pretty hefty additional costs if you get that far up the ladder and choose to buy more spins. Just keep this in mind, and as always set the game controls so that you limit your losses and don’t get carried away.
Try this festive game out for yourself in the free demo of Slingo Bells above in our review, and see if you think this has the potential to be a Christmas cracker, or has the lack of some bonus rounds left it looking more like an unwanted brussel sprout. As always you’ll find the demo playable on all devices, so get your Christmas jumper on and give it a try.
