Slingo Capital Gains (Slingo Originals) Slot Demo & Review

Slingo is a thrilling combination of slots and bingo. Imagine the excitement of spinning away on the reels mixed with the anticipation of marking off the final numbers on a bingo card; it’s the ultimate mash-up of two classics. We have another title from this category to enjoy today, thanks to Slingo Originals, who have just released Slingo Capital Gains. It features an RTP of 94.68% and a potential maximum win of 10,000x.

Those familiar with the Slingo format will need no introduction to the gameplay area, and we have the usual 5×5 grid or bingo card that displays a set of numbers to be marked off. Below this is a 5×3 reel set where we’ll have five spins per game round to match as many numbers as possible to those on the grid above. Each line made is known as a Slingo, and the more Slingos, the better the prizes. These range from a vault door cash prize feature at the low end and rise to a cash collect re-spin bonus with a x5 multiplier as the top reward for a full house. Of course, after the initial five game rounds, there is the option to purchase additional spins in an attempt to complete further Slingos, but these can come at an eye-watering cost the closer you get to completing the grid.

If you’ve been captivated by the unique blend of chance and strategy that the Slingo format offers, why not embark on a gaming journey like no other by checking out the Slingo Capital Gains demo slot? It’s available to play completely free of charge below!

Slingo Capital Gains Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols

Slingo Capital Gains
Slingo Capital Gains

The basic gameplay in Slingo titles is usually fairly uniformed across the board. I guess this is to be expected, as there’s not much that can be changed about the core mechanism without losing the Slingo element. However, this can be a good thing, as it encourages providers to introduce a wide variety of themes and additional gameplay features to compensate for this lack of originality. You can explore a wide range of these titles for yourself on our Slingo casino game page, where I’m sure you’ll find plenty to suit your taste. Being a bit of a closet Slingo enthusiast, I’d recommend Slingo Money Train as an excellent place to start, with other great options to test out being Slingo Reel King and Slingo Monopoly. That’s the warmup rounds complete; now it’s time to focus, get our eyes down, dabbers at the ready, and prepare to look into the features of Slingo Capital in further detail; see you over at the pays section.

There isn’t a traditional paytable to describe on Slingo Capital Gains, as there are no standard pay symbols. Instead, we’ll need to form a set amount of lines, also known as Slingo’s, which is done by matching numbers and will award a different feature depending on how many are achieved. The value of the prizes that can be won in these bonuses will vary, and we’ll explore that further in the feature sections later in the review.

Each game round is formed of five initial spins, and before we press spin, we’ll need to select a stake value representing the total bet for that game round. There are eight options to choose from, ranging from €0.20 to €30.00. There isn’t a huge amount of variety here, but there is enough to work with, especially with how pricy things can get later on in the action.

Slingo Capital Gains Base Game

Slingo Capital Gains Gameplay
Slingo Capital Gains gameplay

We have a 5×5 main grid in play on Slingo Capital Gains, which displays 25 randomly selected starting numbers. Below this, there is a 5×3 grid with 15 numbers, and each game round consists of five lots of newly generated numbers appearing in this bottom grid, which you’ll hope to match with the ones placed in the upper grid.

Any numbers that do match will be highlighted, and the aim is to form horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines, of which there are 12 in total, and they are known as Slingo’s. The greater the number of them you can form, the higher the reward will be. At the end of the five initial spins, the player will be offered the chance to purchase additional spins, one at a time, the cost of which will vary depending on how many Slingos have been formed and how close to completion the grid is.

Wild Symbols & +1 Spin

This game features two types of wild symbols that can land in the bottom grid instead of a number. The standard wild can be applied to any number in the reel directly above it, whilst the super wild can be applied to any number on the grid. A free spin symbol may also land here, and each will award +1 spin.

Money Charge Symbols

Along with numbers, wilds, and free spin symbols, Money Charge Symbols may land within the bottom game grid. These feature stake multiplier values of a minimum of 1x, along with the jackpot values of Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, worth 10x, 50x, 500x, and 10,000x, respectively. Landing six within the same spin will trigger the Money Charge Bonus.

Slingo Capital Gains Bonus Features

Two bonus features can be awarded on the win meter. These are the Cash Vaults and Money Charge bonuses, as explained below.

Cash Vault Feature

Completing five Slingos will award the Silver Vault, containing a stake multiplier value between 1-3x. Completing six Slingos will award the Gold Vault feature, which will award a prize of 1.25-5x. In both of these features, it is possible to find the Money Charge Bonus in place of a cash value, which will activate this bonus with a 5×3 reel and one re-spin life set-up.

Money Charge Bonus

The Money Charge bonus is triggered by either collecting six or more Money Charge symbols in a base game spin, winning it from the Cash Vault feature, or completing seven or more Slingos. The starting set-up and the number of re-spins are determined by the number of Slingos achieved, as described in the pays section above.

The aim of the bonus is to land cash value or jackpot symbols in the empty grid spaces available, which will hold in place and be counted and paid as a win at the end. Each symbol that lands will reset the spin count to the starting number, and the feature will end once all lives are lost. Any active multiplier values will be applied to any cash values, but not jackpot values, at the end of the feature. It is possible to land more than one jackpot value during the same bonus.

Pros

  • 10,000x jackpot coin to be won.
  • Lots of variance in the starting set-up options for the bonus.

Cons

  • Below average RTP.

Slingo Capital Gains Slot Review Final Thoughts

Essentially, this is just another Slingo game, so if you don’t like them, it won’t be for you. However, as they go, this is a very good one. It has a maximum win offering amongst the highest out there in its category and a generous number of features to enjoy. Clearly, the point to aim for is the top, full house, feature, with its x5 multiplier and fully expanded 5x5 grid, but there are several options below that which represent good win potential. I also like how the base game is played over five rounds with 15 numbers on each, as opposed to 10 rounds with 5 numbers on each, as seen in many other variants. This makes the game more dynamic and ensures the action comes thick and fast instead of in dribs and drabs. A solid effort.
