Game Overview
Journey into a fantasy world as you go in search of cash wins and multipliers, in Slingo Fire and Ice from developer Slingo Originals. Played across 2 grids each containing 12 lines, players will experience an in-game RTP of 96.04%, where wins up to a maximum of 1,000x bet can be achieved.
As with all Slingo titles the key to success is completing as many lines as possible, but this title comes with a bit of a twist. Mark off the lines within the Ice Grid to win cash amounts, whilst crossing off the numbers in the Fire Grid will award multipliers to boost the cash values. Land a double Slingo and you’ll activate the in-game jackpots.

Slingo Fire And Ice Theme, Pays, Stakes & Symbols
Fire and Ice was originally a slot from game provider Amatic, with it taking on somewhat of a generic fruit machine theme that then had some quirky style features thrown in on top. Slingo Originals have upgraded that game to their unique hybrid slots/bingo franchise, with players coming up against 2 Slingo grids in their title Slingo Fire and Ice. Punters will get to experience the usual high standard of graphics and overall action that’s now become the Slingo norm in this game, with some impressive audio also being included within the gameplay for gamblers to enjoy.
Joining in on the real money action within Slingo Fire and Ice can cost players from as little as €0.20, up to a maximum of €100 a game. The selected stake size will initially buy 10 spins of the number reel, with additional purchases then being possible after they have finished ( more to come on this later. ) In-game return to player percentage is respectable too, with players being able to take advantage of an RTP rate of 96.04%.
Slingo Fire And Ice Gameplay & Modifiers
Players are treated to a unique playing experience on Slingo Fire and Ice, with two 5×5 grids both containing 25 random numbers from between 1 – 90 being in play. The right card, which is the Ice Grid is responsible for awarding you with cash wins, whilst the left card, which is the Fire Grid, is capable of boosting those cash values via multipliers when lines are created upon it.
Marking off the symbols on both of these cards is central to the gameplay, and key to your chances of success. As there are 2 cards in play in this title, the symbols and numbers that appear are a little different from other Slingo games that you may have played in the past. Luckily we’re on hand to help you with this, and have detailed the symbols and what can appear below.

Jackpot Feature
During your play, if at any time you complete a Double Slingo, then you will activate the Jackpot Feature. Once this is active, if you land a Fire Gem symbol, or an Ice Gem symbol on the number reel, then you will win 250x, and 1,000x respectively.
Buy Additional Free Spins
After your initial 10 spins have ended, you will be offered the opportunity to buy more if you wish to. However, unlike the original 10 free spins, you will be offered 2 separate prices for each of the grids. So if you would like to try and improve the size of your multiplier, then you can choose to play on the fire grid, Alternatively, if you want to increase the size of your cash win, then you can select to spin again on the ice grid.
The cost to spin the number reel of either of these grids will be determined by how far you have progressed on each of the ladders. So if you already have a decent sized win and choose to continue, it’s likely the cost to spin again is going to be fairly substantial. Just keep this aspect of the game in mind, and before playing for real money I always recommend that you use the safe controls that are provided. This way you can set both spin and loss limits, to stop you from getting carried away when in search of the last few numbers.
Slingo Fire And Ice Review Final Thoughts
I just love seeing a new Slingo release, as I’m always fascinated in which direction they will take the franchise next. I have to say the idea of using 2 grids is genius, and opens up all manner of possibilities for what games they can develop going forward. Anyway, how about Fire and Ice itself? I have to be honest and say that I do prefer the Slingo games that include bonus features more than the ones that just operate on the standard mechanic. That being said though, as this is a new concept entirely I did really enjoy playing it, and suggest that you give our demo above a good play too, so that you can get to grips with what could be possibly be a new breed of Slingo game.
