Slingo Showdown Demo (Slingo Originals) Slot Demo & Review

It’s pistols at dawn in the slot bingo hybrid game Slingo Showdown from developer Slingo Originals. Shoot your way across 12 paylines and create a winning poker hand, which could leave you raking in the chips and walking away with the top prize of 1,500x your bet.

Once you’ve chosen your stake it’s time to start spinning the reel and marking off the cards. Rolling in a royal flush is what you’re aiming for, and with the help of the modifier symbols you can apply a tasty multipler towards it to really boost your win.

Let’s take a walk into the western world of Slingo and find out more about this game in our full review. We’ll cover all aspects of how it operates so that can fully enjoy your real money play. Don’t forget to try it out for free first in our demo play that can be accessed on your desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Slingo Showdown Theme & Stakes

Enjoy A Western Theme On Slingo Showdown

We all love a spaghetti western and have fancied ourselves at times as a bit of a Clint Eastwood style character in films like For a Few Dollars More. Well thanks to Slingo Originals we can now make that a reality, as we try our luck on their western themed game Slingo Showdown. You’ll find yourself up against the cards in this Slingo title, as a typical western jingle plays throughout.

Heading out west and playing Slingo Showdown will cost you as little as €0.20 a game, with the highest stake size on the game reaching €100. For your initial starting stake you will be given 10 deals ( spins of the lower reel ) with there being additional opportunities to buy more deals further on in the game. I’ll cover this in more detail later on in the review.

Slingo Showdown Game & Modifiers

Create A Winning Hand Via The Scrolling On Slingo Showdown
Create a winning hand via the scrolling on Slingo Showdown

After selecting your stake the game will get under way, and you’ll be faced with a 5×5 grid of cards. As you hit the deal button the scrolling reel along the bottom of the grid will reveal 5 symbols. These can be a mixture of cards and modifiers that can both help you, and in some instances hinder you whilst playing. I’ve put the modifiers into a table below so that you can what they will do if they appear.

Interestingly there are 2 parts to playing Slingo Showdown. To the right hand side of the grid you have a list of poker hands that can be won when the cards are rolled into play on the scrolling reel. If you achieve one of these hands then it will be highlighted and will be your prize for the game.

Located to the the left hand side of the grid you have multiplier values that can be won by completing full lines. If you reach one of these multipliers, then it will be applied to your poker hand win when the game comes to a close. Below you can see the lines you need and the multiplier values that they will award.

As I mentioned earlier in the review, it is possible to buy additional deals of the card reel after your initial 10 deals are over. The price it will cost you to spin the reel again will be determined by how many lines you have already completed, and what poker hand you are currently holding.

Every time you improve your position on the game grid, the following deal will cost you more to buy. I always advise players to be careful when buying extra spins, as the overall running cost of the game can soon begin to mount up.

Slingo Showdown Review Final Thoughts

It’s always nice to come across a completely unique title in the Slingo series of games, and that is exactly what Slingo Showdown is. I really liked the idea behind getting yourself a poker win first and then trying to improve your win by completing more lines to advance the multiplier value.

I’d put this game in the same bracket as Slingo Advance, whereby they both maintain the Slingo concept, but offer something different that is both entertaining and extremely fun to play. This is a must try Slingo game if you are a fan of the series.
