Game Overview
Join game provider Slingo Originals as they take you on safari in their slot bingo hybrid title named Slingo Stampede. The provider has mixed things up in this latest game with a new and exciting reel format, which is sure to increase the excitement levels amongst hardcore Slingo players. Win up to 1,500x your bet in this medium volatility title, where an RTP of 95.40% can be enjoyed across 12 paylines.
Slingo Originals have gone for a more fundamental approach in Slingo Stampede, perhaps because it’s a new style of game they have on trial for the first time. This means there are no bonus features that can be triggered or activated. The only alternative option of winning something significant comes via the scatter collect, which can provide lucky players with wins of 1,000x.

Slingo Stampede Theme, Pays, Stakes & Symbols
The innovative team behind the creation of Slingo titles has yet to delve into the popular theme of safari; that was until now, at least. So get your backpack ready and jump aboard the jeep as you head off deep into the Serengeti in Slingo Stampede. As you’d likely expect from a game based around safari, the background is filled with trees, long grass and what looks like a mountain range in the distance. To add a bit more atmosphere, you can also hear birds singing and animals making noises, which adds more authenticity to the game overall. If animal-themed Slingo games are your thing, check out Slingo Shark Week too. This is a great title to play and sees Slingo Originals team up with the Discovery Channel.
Before you partake in any play on Slingo Stampede, you will first need to select a stake on the betting menu represented by a stack of coins. These bet sizes begin at €0.20 and progress steadily before reaching the maximum limit of €100. Unlike other titles within the Slingo range, you will receive just 5 spins for your placed bet, but as we will find out later in the review, there is a reason why you don’t get as many as spins as you do in other games within the genre. Once your spins are over, you will be allowed to buy more if you wish, and we will explain more about this later. Wrapping up this section, we have the RTP that comes in 95.40%, which is pretty much on the money for a Slingo release.
Slingo Stampede Gameplay & Modifiers
It’s a similar setup on Slingo Stampede to most other Slingo games you will have seen. By this, I mean you’ll see a grid of 25 random numbers ranging from 1 – 90 in value. So just like a game of bingo, the idea is to mark as many of these numbers off as possible. Each line you complete will see you move one position up the prize ladder on the left-hand side of the grid.
The game will begin once you have placed your initial bet. Now, this is where you’ll see a big difference from any other Slingo title that you’ve played before. Rather than having a rolling reel at the bottom of the main grid that contains just 5 numbers, on Slingo Stampede, you are given a complete reel set of 5×3 that will deliver you with 15 numbers on each of your spins. Along with numbers, there are also special symbols that can appear on the reel set; these have been explained to you below.

Rhino Scatter Symbol
In addition to the cash prize ladder, you’ll also notice a scatter ladder situated on the right-hand side of the grid. These Rhino Scatter symbols can appear on the number reel, and if you hit 10 or more of these, you will scoop yourself a very tidy 1000x bet.
Buying Additional Spins
After your 5 spins have ended, you will be offered the opportunity to buy more. The price of the purchased spins will vary depending on how far you have progressed up the cash prize ladder. So just be aware that it will cost a considerable amount to spin the reels again if you are nearing the top. If you want to limit what you spend per game, then head to the Game Controls section, where you can put specific limits in place to stop you from getting carried away.
Slingo Stampede Review Final Thoughts
I was excited to see this new Slingo game as it has a unique reel set to deliver even more chances to win. It sure did enhance the game experience, and if there had been some additional features to trigger in Slingo Stampede, then I would give it a much higher score in this review. Hopefully, Slingo Originals are just testing the water with this new format, and we will see a feature-rich Slingo game with 5 reels at the bottom soon.
