I was quite optimistic about what Spartacus Lightning Blitz might have in store for me once it hit my screen, but it soon dawned on me that it is very similar to many other games in the ReelPlay catalogue. Once again, the cascading reels feature can bring multiple wins from a single paid spin, but the game's main hook is the free spins bonus triggered when four or more scatters land in view.

A word of warning here. If you don't hit many gladiators on the spins in the bonus round, it can be over in the blink of an eye with barely anything won, which happened to me on the two times I activated the feature. Undoubtedly, the game does have the potential to pay, and maybe I was just unlucky, but my review score reflects my experiences while playing the game. Perhaps you'll have better luck, but this isn't a release I'll be visiting again.
