Spirited Wonders also includes mystery symbols which can offer a surprise continuation of what looked like a finished round, as well as a global multiplier that is displayed at all times above the playfield. During the free spins feature, the value of the global multiplier can increase significantly up to 15x rather than the maximum of 5x available during the base game.

Spirited Wonders Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
If you believe everything you hear (which you probably shouldn’t, by the way!), the world is filled with all kinds of spirits! There are Shinobi Spirit, according to Print Studios, Firebird Spirit, according to Pragmatic Play, and even Mystical Spirits, says Pocket Games Soft. Well, Somebody is hogging all of the spirit luck, aren’t they! Yes, PG Soft seems to like creating games based on the spirits, which further suggests that they can bring you luck! I particularly like the visual style employed in Spirited Wonders, although, as always, that will be a matter of personal taste.
Don’t expect too much from the paytable of this game, however, as the highest-paying symbols don’t return very much for a single payway. There are three of them – a red dragon, a dark-haired lady, and a cartoon cat, all of which share equal returns of 1.5x the current stake for a full payway of six of a kind. There are three more rather strange symbols – I’m not even really sure how to describe them – such as a disembodied hand which will pay you 1x the total bet for a full payline, plus six low-paying royals. The royals are divided into two groups, with the aces/kings/queens returning 0.75x the bet for all six symbols and the jacks/tens/nines slightly less generous at 0.5x each.
The betting range is a little more limited than I’ve grown accustomed to from this developer, but you can at least bet any multiple of the €0.20 minimum wager up to the maximum limit of €20.00 per round, so there should be plenty of options for both low and high rollers to choose from.
Base Game & Modifiers
The playfield design featured in Spirited Wonders looks a lot like a Megaways machine, with six reels, including four with an additional row positioned above them in the centre. The four additional symbol positions are arranged vertically here though, not horizontally as they usually are in Megaways slots, and PG Soft’s game also has a much lower maximum number of ways. There are still 10,000 of them though, so it’s unlikely that you’ll find yourself cursing the game for not having enough ways to win!
Mystery Symbols
During every round, one or more mystery symbols may land on the reels. These symbols will stay dormant whilst other winning combinations are evaluated and will only activate when no more combinations are in view. At that time, the mystery symbols will randomly transform into one symbol selected from the paytable.
Global Multiplier
Above the reels, you can see the current win multiplier, which starts at 1x during each round. After a winning combination has been formed on the reels, the multiplier will increase to 2x; a second win will boost this further to 3x, while a third win will take you to the maximum multiplier limit of 5x. During the bonus round, these multipliers are increased – see below for details.
Spirited Wonders Slot Bonus Features
When three or more scatter symbols appear during a single round, the game will award you a minimum of ten free spins. Each additional scatter symbol above the minimum of three will add two extra spins to your starting total.
Free Spins
The global multipliers value significantly increases during this part of the game. Rather than the 1x, 2x, 3x, and 5x scale used in the base game, you’ll now be offered much more generous multipliers of 3x, 6x, 9x, and 15x. Apart from this, the free spins feature plays out much like the base game – you can even re-trigger an additional 10+ free spins by hitting three or more scatter symbols whilst the feature is active.

Final Thoughts
After playing Spirited Wonders, I’m disappointed to say that I’m unsure if it will be the game to bring me luck and fortune! That’s not to say that it’s bad; it’s just pretty average in most ways – give it a try by all means, but I doubt it will make it to many must-play lists from online players. But hey, it's all subjective, so who knows.
