Spooky Vibes Accumul8 Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Black cats, skulls, pumpkins… scary looking spiders. All the typical Halloween imagery is here, but it’s presented in a very non-threatening way – it’s more Scooby Doo than Alien, if you get my drift. This appears to be a popular style amongst slot developers, actually – the recent Tricks and Treats slot had a similar look to this one, as does Book of Halloween and previous slots such as the Halloween Fortune series by Playtech.
So, there are few surprises with the theme – how about the paytable? The black cat is the highest paying regular symbol with a payout of 50x the current bet for 12 or more symbols anywhere on the grid. The bat is next and has a return of 25x the stake for 12. Then we have the skull worth 15x for 12 or more, followed by that nasty looking little spider at 12x. I expected to see a few more high-paying symbols on a grid slot such as this, but that seems to be the lot this time – the rest of the grid consists of the scatters and the lower-paying potion symbols. A couple of notes regarding these payouts, – first, it is possible to hit multiple winning combinations on a single spin, as the grid is much larger than even the maximum payout size of 12 symbols. Secondly, as this is a cascading symbols slot, you can also win several times from one paid spin – potentially with the benefit of multipliers as well.
There is a reasonably limited betting range, starting at €0.20 per round and topping out at €10.00 per spin – much less than many other games but probably still more than plenty for most players.
Base Game & Modifiers
Regular gameplay takes place on a 6×5 grid, meaning you have 30 positions to gather as many symbols as possible on each spin. You’ll need a minimum of 8-9 symbols within the grid to score yourself the minimum win, with larger prizes paid for groups of 10-11 or 12 adjacent symbols.
Multiplier Symbols
The gravestone-shaped multiplier symbols can appear at any time during both the base game and the bonus round and will remain in their position on the reels until the start of the following paid spin. If several multiplier symbols are gathered on the grid – even as a result of multiple cascades – their values will be added together before the multiplier is applied to the next set of winnings.

The main bonus round is triggered by hitting three or more pumpkin scatter symbols during the base game. Ten free spins will be awarded for hitting the minimum of three scatter symbols, whilst 15 or 20 free spins are awarded for hitting four or five scatter symbols, respectively.
The pumpkin scatters will remain on the reel sete during this mod, but you only need to hit two of them to win some additional free spins. Two pumpkins will add three more spins to your remaining counter, whilst more than two will award the same number of extra spins as during the base game. There are no other advantages to the free spin mode, which feels a tad disappointing, but I did find this part of the game seemed a little more generous than the base game anyway.
Bonus Buy
For a cost of 75x the current bet, you can purchase a bonus round, provided it is allowed within your jurisdiction. The number of free spins you will receive is randomly determined by the number of triggering scatters that fall immediately after purchase, although I never saw more than three as I was testing the game. It seems a safe bet that most of the time, you will end up with a three-scatter bonus round from this facility.

This is a great looking slot, and although the feature set is relatively basic, there should be enough to keep most slot players entertained. The theme is well done, if a little bit cartoony for my tastes, so I can see this game proving especially popular with players between September and November.
