Paytable For Star Guardians Video Slot

A spaceship with mutated insects doesn’t sound like an aviation experience that I’d want to have, and believe me, I’ve been on a few pretty hairy flights in my time. Luckily on Evoplay’s Star Guardians, you can board this particular aircraft with a weapon to help you fend off the unwanted visitors that are onboard. Wait a minute, aliens, spaceship, where have I heard that before? Ok, so this isn’t going to be as full on as Sigourney Weaver in her hit movie Alien, but as far as a hybrid of video games and video slots go, this has to be the next best thing. So good on you, Evoplay, for getting the graphics and gameplay to run smoothly on all devices; we’re off to a good start, that’s for sure.

Ok, on we go to the paytable. As you’ve probably guessed, no reels are involved in this game. You are awarded a win by shooting the aliens that appear as you make your way around the spaceship. These come in various shapes and sizes and will award wins ranging from 0x up to 5,000x your bet if you manage to polish off one of the special enemies, namely the queen. Special packages can also be discovered as you make your way around the ship. Inside of these, you can find keys that can unlock additional loot boxes further into the game, or maybe a monetary prize instead.

Have you been frightened off yet? Of course you haven’t, so if you want to play Star Guardians for real money, you can do so from just €0.10 a game up to a maximum of €100. Each round you play consists of your character walking into a room and shooting 3 aliens. These may or may not award you a prize, just to be clear. Finishing up this section, we have the return to player percentage. I was impressed with this value, and I’m sure you will be, too, as it comes in at 96%.

Star Guardians Gameplay

Choose To Control Your Character As You Explore The Spaceship And Shoot The Aliens In Star Guardians Video Slot From Game Provider Evoplay

Before you choose any stake and enter a room within the ship, you’ll first need to select your character to play with. The following 3 choices are available, and next to the character, I have listed their unique capability.

  • Butcher: All wins achieved by this character will be multiplied by x2.
  • Skyler: No keys are required to open a prize chest when you play with this character.
  • Kelliot: No loot will get left behind with this character, who is 100% guaranteed to collect all available prizes.

Now that you have your chosen character, you can start entering the ship’s rooms. This is where things start to get interesting. You can either let the game control your character, or you can control them yourselves and be responsible for clearing the ship of all alien enemies. I will just point out that if you do control your avatar, there is no way that you can die or lose; the round will end when you have killed all of the aliens within that room.

Bonus Game

The bonus game can trigger randomly on any game; if it does, your allies will join you as you’ll need all the help you can get. A new kind of opponent named Larvas will appear in the bonus, and these can drop both cash and ammunition, which you’ll need.

The feature consists of 3 initial rounds of enemies, with the 4th and final round being where you will face the queen. If you can successfully defeat her, then there will be a nice win of 5,000x bet coming your way.

Star Guardians Review Final Thoughts

Mixing a video game and a video slot hybrid requires skill and a great team to pull it off. Thankfully Evoplay has both of these, which shines through in Star Guardians’ production. Granted, this isn’t going to be everybody’s cup of tea, but if you’re looking for something fun and unique to play, I’d highly recommend you give this a try. Who knows, you could save humanity and be rewarded with a hefty 5,000x as your reward.
