Sweeteor Shower Modifier
Activating at the end of a paid spin once again, the cutely named sweet-eor shower could well turn out to be your saviour if the game has been a bit tight with the old scatter symbols – if you see this mod activate, you can kick back and relax, as the game will re-spin a random reel and add a third scatter to the reels, awarding you the free spins bonus round.
Sweet Rockets Wild Modifier
Whilst many modifiers take place before the beginning of a paid spin, this one is invoked at the end – making for a very sweet treat indeed when you see that rocket fire across the reels, dropping up to five smartie bombs randomly on the reels. Thankfully, they won’t replace your scatter or star symbols, but all other symbols are fair game for being exploded and replaced with a new wild symbol.
Stars N’ Sweets Slot Free Spins Feature
There are two main bonus rounds in the Stars n’ Sweets Hold & Win slot game, the first of which is a free spins feature. There is only three free spin scatters on the reels, so it’s always a case of eight sticky wild free spins. The second bonus round, known as Hold & Win, you may have seen in other iSoftBet games, but we’ll talk about it in a moment all the same.
Sweety Sticky Wild Free Spins
In this mode, any wilds that land will remain in position until the end of the entire bonus round. Theoretically, you could fill the whole screen with bonus symbols in this mode, but you would need at least two wilds on seven of your eight spins, so if it ever does happen, I hope the player is recording for Twitch of YouTube!
The best part is that all wilds have multipliers in this mode, too, up to a maximum of 5x, and all winning lines with more than one wild will see their values added together before the winnings are multiplied by the resulting total. Sadly, free spins cannot be re-triggered.
Hold & Win Feature
This is a variation of the popular “three spins” type of free spin bonus rouns where you start with three spins, the reels contain only special symbols, and your counter is reset back to three each time an additional symbol drops. You’ll need six triggering star symbols to invoke the feature, which will remain in place as it begins, but iSoftBet has added two extra twists this time around as well:
UFO Collector – When this ship shows up, he will clear out all of your prizes from the screen and hold them in a single slot, freeing up the rest of the board for you to continue to collect more prizes. I filled 13 segments of the board before the collector showed up and sucked up all my prizes, including a 200x grand jackpot, for nearly 300x. I then managed a second UFO collector before my round was completed!
UFO Payer – This ship doesn’t appear on the grid but instead flies by and multiplies the value of any existing prize by up to 5x. It will then fly away from the screen without occupying a coveted spot. The UFO Payer can even double a grand jackpot star, making it worth 1,000x your stake!

iSoftBet used to be a little league developer, but those days are long gone – these guys have continued to up their game each year, almost clandestinely, to the point that today I regularly find myself shocked at the quality of their stuff. I really enjoyed this game – the second half of 2022 is shaping up to be a golden period for high-quality online slots.
