Steamworks – Gears of Fortune (Peter & Sons) Slot Demo & Review

Peter & Sons follow up their original 3 reeled Steampunk-themed release of Steamworks The Workshop with Steamworks Gears of Fortune, extending the playfield to 25 paylines courtesy of a 5x3 reel configuration. Their initial game in this series didn't score too highly here at Demoslot, so I was hoping the sequel would provide some better gameplay and bonuses, especially with it including the popular Hold & Win bonus round. Unfortunately, this proved not to be the case, and although you can trigger the feature instantly via the bonus buy, the alternative is a collection-style mechanic requiring extended play, so don't be thinking you can load this slot up and land an instant bonus, it's going to take a while. The other major letdown, in my opinion, is the bonus round itself. Not only is the top prize relatively small, but unless you hit a few shockwave and collector symbols, the feature will be over in a flash with a meagre return added to your balance.
