Sugar Rush Xmas Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
One of my favourite games to play, although incredibly frustrating at times, is Pragmatic’s original Sugar Rush slot, so I was delighted to see a Christmas version of the game being released, although I expected that, more than likely, it will have been dressed up with a bit of tinsel and just rebranded a little for the festive period. However, that does remind me that if you were a big fan of the first slot like myself, then you should try some spins out on another Pragmatic release titled the Sugar Supreme Powernudge slot, which is heaps of fun to play and scored a solid 7.5 out of 10 here at Demoslot. Let’s move on anyway and check out what pays Sugar Rush Xmas has to offer.
Taking the spot as the highest paying symbol in the game is the Pink Lollipop, which awards 150x for winning clusters of 15 or more. Next is the Heart Shaped Candy, worth 100x, followed by the Jelly Bean at 60x, with the Star Shaped Candy the last of the premium pays and worth 40x bet for clusters of 15+. The lower pays are represented by three Gummy Bears, with the Red Bear paying 30x, the Purple Bear worth 25x, and finally, the Orange Bear awarding 20x bet for wins of 15+.
It would seem the Xmas version of Sugar Rush does at least have one difference from the original, and that’s the amount of bets that are on offer. The minimum price to play remains at €0.20 a spin, but the maximum reaches a huge €240, which is set at €100 the first time this slot game was released. However, these are ridiculously high stakes, and I imagine they are only for demo purposes, as I can’t see many casinos wanting to risk paying out a max win on such a big bet size.
Sugar Rush Xmas Slot Base Game
The Sugar Rush Xmas slot is played on a supersized grid of 7×7, where 49 symbols will roll into play on each spin. Winning combos are formed when at least five matching symbols land adjacent to each other anywhere within the playfield. All wins will initiate the cascading reels mechanic, which removes winning symbols from the reels and replaces them with new symbols for more chances to win.
Multiplier Spots
Whenever a winning symbol explodes, it marks a spot on the grid. After the second time a symbol explodes on the same spot, a multiplier is added to the spot, starting from x2 and doubling every time one or more symbols explode on it, up to a maximum of 128x. The multiplier applies to all winning combinations that hit on top of it. If more multipliers are involved in the same winning combination, they add to each other. In the base game, all the marked spots with multipliers last until the end of the tumbling sequence, being cleared when there are no more tumbles.

In the base game, if 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 scatter symbols appear in view 10, 12, 15, 20, and 30 free spins will be awarded, respectively.
