Temple Of Treasure Megaways Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
For those that didn’t know, Blueprint Gaming was the first studio to gain a Megaways license from Big Time Gaming, allowing them to add the unique engine to any of their existing games and anything new they created. This resulted in a flurry of slots being released from Blueprint, that at the time, were some of the best Megaways titles to hit the market. Another game released around that period was the slot we are reviewing today, Temple of Treasure Megaways. So, let’s not hang around any longer and make our way over to the pays section to see what can be won.
As always folks, we’re starting at the top of the paytable, and the highest paying symbol in the game is the mask worth 50x the bet for a six of a kind win. Next in line is the jewel, which drops way down to 5x bet for a winning combo of six. This is followed by the ring valued at 2.5x for a completed line of six, with the final premium paying symbol being the necklace which awards 2x bet for a line of six. Gameplay on Temple of Treasure Megaways takes place over a 6×6 reel set with an additional escalating reel above reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. If a minimum of three matching symbols (two in the case of the top paying symbol) land on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel first, then the corresponding wind will be paid.
Cascading Reels
Each time you hit a winning connection, the symbols involved in that win will be removed from the reels and replaced by new ones. This can lead to several wins from just one paid spin, and if you have a good set-up of premium paying symbols, you could be in for a significant base game hit.
Mystery Symbols
The mystery symbol can land anywhere in view between reels 1 – 6. Once the reels have come to a halt, all instances of it will transform into a randomly chosen symbol from the paytable.
Temple Of Treasure Megaways Slot Bonus Features
You will need four or more bonus scatter symbols anywhere in view on the reels to trigger the bonus round. Achieving four will give you a maximum of 15 spins to start the feature; additional spins are added for extra scatters that trigger the feature, and the amounts vary depending on which volatility you choose.
You are given four choices once the feature has been triggered, which are as follows.
- 15 Free spins: A minimum of 324 Megaways per spin. +4 spins for each additional scatter.

When Blueprint introduced the mystery choice aspect into the bonus feature, at the time, it did seem quite radical, and plenty of players were chasing the max spins and max multiplier. Due to the volatility shift in newer slots that has seen even more insane jackpots and multipliers, Temple of Treasure Megaways is now really nothing more than an afterthought for most players, but at the time, it was one of the best Megaways slots around. It's still definitely worth a few spins, even if it's purely for reminiscing purposes.
