The Final Countdown Slot Review Final Thoughts
Whether this slot had been given the title Danger High Voltage 2 by players, or BTG themselves, it was potentially a massive risk given the success and popularity of DHV. We were certainly nervous about trying this one out just in case it didn’t live up to all the hype it had received in the lead up to its release. Although we weren’t blown away like the first time we played DHV, The Final Countdown is a very enjoyable and exciting slot to play, and you can definitely see that it has the potential to award some monster sized wins if it’s in the mood.
Much like DHV we liked the fact that you have two bonus rounds to choose from. The heading for Venus bonus has similarities to the high voltage bonus on DHV, and The Countdown bonus could loosely be related to Gates of Hell. Which of these bonuses turns out to be the best payer only time will tell, we personally enjoy playing The Countdown bonus the best, but that is only because we had 2 zero paying bonuses on Heading for Venus.
