Blueprint has opted for a 6×5 reel formation on The Goonies Megaways, and with the Megaways mechanic able to change the number of symbols on each reel, this allows the slot to generate up to 15,625 ways to win on any given spin. Players will be awarded a win if 2+ game characters or 3+ royal symbols land on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel first.
Cash Collect
When entering the game, the Cash Collect feature will be active, appearing on reels one and six. If this lands simultaneously as any cash symbols, they will be collected and added to your bankroll. Furthermore, every Cash Collect symbol that hits will move you one position along the meter at the top of the reels, where the following can be unlocked. Players should note that all unlocked features will be carried over into the free spins bonus.
- 2 Collect symbols achieved unlocks Dual Collect in the main game and free spins, making any Collect symbols active on reels 1 and 6.

Hey You Guys Modifiers
Randomly, on any base game spin, Sloth can trigger and award one of the following modifiers:

Treasure Blitz Super Spin
Whilst this feature is active, only Cash, Cashpot, Collect and Fortune Wheel symbols will be active on the reels. Once the bonus begins, each time a Cash, Cashpot, or Fortune Wheel symbol lands, it will add one position to the re-trigger meter at the top of the reels.
On the first spin, if 13 symbols are collected, players will get to pick a key, which will reveal additional spins and a win multiplier of up to 10x. The first re-trigger will then require 14 symbols to land to reach the pick a key feature, while all subsequent re-triggers need 15 symbols to land for the key bonus to be activated.

Well, hats off to start to Blueprint for another fantastic looking slot in The Goonies series; the graphics are outstanding, and it looks like a lot of work has gone into the game. But what about the features and gameplay itself?This is quite a tough one because if you enjoyed the original slot and its sequel due to all its bonuses and the lure of reaching the top of the prize ladder, sadly, those kinds of features are just not available in the Megaways version.It would seem Blueprint wants to stick with the collection features seen in The Goonies Hey You Guys and encourage some extended play, tempting players into unlocking the meter and activating the Treasure Blitz Super Spins bonus.There is nothing wrong with that, of course, but it's a very different game now from the originals, so just keep that in mind when you're locked and loaded and ready to spin on the Megaways version.
