The Gunman of Goldwood quickly grabs the attention then, due to its impressive graphics displayed in high definition and containing detailed artwork. The question is whether the other areas of the slot can match its looks, which is what we’ll find out as I review Thunderkick’s latest potential gunslinging masterpiece.
The slot features a few interesting features, which is a good start. The first is Wild Multipliers, which multiply symbol payouts by a multiplier value determined by how many wilds played their part in the combo. The highest possible is 16x – which is not bad at all. Next, a Duel feature can kick in to expand winning symbols to fill their reels. Both of those features are the centrepiece of the free spins bonus, too. A wild is guaranteed on every spin, and the Duel Feature always expands winning symbols.

We’re quite spoilt when it comes to Western slots, and while many are nothing special, a few have become hugely popular. I think The Gunman of Goldwood falls between the two, as it's a good slot but not up there with some of the greats. I enjoyed it, but it won’t dislodge other similarly themed titles from my playlist.
