Tiki Hut Megaways Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I’ve played a few slots with ‘Tiki’ in the title now, and they all seem to revolve around what looks like totem poles with mask-like carvings upon them. Pragmatic Play has previously released Tropical Tiki, for example, a 729 payways slot that plays across a 6×3 reel configuration and offers a 3,000x max win, while another Tiki-themed slot demo proving popular on our site is the Hawaiian Tiki slot from PGslot. For this review, I forced myself to do a little research and sure enough, that’s essentially what a Tiki is. However, what I didn’t know is they’re heavily linked to Māori religion and mythology – something I’m not about to get into in too much detail when most of you probably just want to know what the Tiki Hut Megaways slot pays, what bonus features it has, and whether it’s even worth playing at all.
With that in mind, I’ll start with the symbols and the sorts of payouts you can expect when spinning the reels of Pragmatic Play’s latest creation. The Gold Tiki is the regular symbol you’ll want to see the most as it is worth 7.5x the stake for a six-symbol combination, while the Red Tiki offers the second-best payout of 3x for a six across consecutive reels. There’s not much between the Green Tiki at 2x and the Blue Tiki at 1.5x, for a full line of six, whilst the Drum and a Coconut are the remaining high-paying symbols, and both deliver 1.5x as their biggest payouts. The Ace, King, Queen, and Jack pay up to 1x, while the Ten rounds off the paytable with a maximum of 0.5x achievable.
The betting range is slightly lower than what I’m accustomed to on Pragmatic Play slots, but there are still plenty of options ranging from a minimum of €0.20 up to a maximum of €100.00 per spin.
Tiki Hut Megaways Slot Base Game & Modifiers
If you’re a fan of Megaways, you’ve probably read this as many times as I’ve written it, but the mechanic works by delivering a random number of 2 to 7 symbols on each of the 6 reels. Each spin could deliver different ways to win up to a maximum of 117,649, with the latter possible if a spin reveals 7 positions across all the reels. You’ll receive payouts whenever 3 or more matching symbols land across successive reels – starting from the leftmost reel.
Wild Symbol
The Wild symbol can land on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, and on top of substituting for all the slot’s regular symbols, it will hold a random multiplier of 2x or 3x. That multiplier will apply to any winning combinations the wild symbol contributes to – plus, if more than one wild was part of that combo, the multipliers multiply each other before applying to the win.

Sticky Wilds Free Spins

Tiki Hut Megaways looks the part, but the features didn't quite cut the mustard for me, having seen them all before in our Dog House Megaways demo. However, I know there are plenty of Pragmatic Play fans out there, so I’m pretty confident there are many of you who will get some fun out of this latest slot purely due to the fact it has a different theme.
