I’ve been fascinated when looking at the slots produced by fledgling developer Realistic Games over the past few days, a feeling which looks set to continue as we check out today’s game, titled “Time is Money”. I expected some kind of game show design or something along those lines, so I was surprised to see a small number of picture symbols that looked like a Japanese RPG after firing up the slot for the first time. I wasn’t surprised to see the 20 fixed pay lines or the 95.45% RTP figures, but a maximum win of just 250x your stake feels a little on the small side for a five-reel game.
Moving on, the main feature is a free spins bonus round that uses a different real set and a multiplier clock that will apply a random multiplier of up to 12x at the end of each bonus round spin. This multiplier will apply to any combination apart from a line of five wilds, which is already a jackpot, so it cannot be increased further. The paytable also notes that it is possible to remove all 12 of the clock multipliers by re-triggering the bonus round, which will automatically award the jackpot prize.

Time Is Money Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I’m really not sure where the title “Time is Money” comes from in this game – the backdrop includes one or two clock-like objects and a “Go Go Fast!” machine of some kind on the left of the reels, but the symbols don’t seem to tie in with the name of the game, and there are less than a handful of picture symbols to try and form an idea of what Realistic Games were getting at with this one. It’s a nice looking slot all the same, however, and at the end of the day, who needs a storyline when you have cash?
On the paytable, we have the “Time is Money” wild symbol at the top of the list, paying a hefty 250x your bet for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind. This drops significantly at the next step, as is often the case, and all three character symbols pay 40x your stake for all five of those. The royal symbols then fill the remaining slots ranging from 10x down to 5x, whilst the clock scatter has no payout at all. Don’t worry, though – as we’ll explain shortly, the game does award lots of additional free spins if you manage to hit more than three scatter symbols!
Wagering options begin at a minimum of €0.20 per spin for the low rollers and range up to a maximum of €200.00 for those who are completely insane when playing online slots. Sorry, but it’s true!
Base Game & Modifiers
Time is Money video slot uses a standard five by three playfield with 20 fixed pay lines, and all wins are awarded for hitting three or matching symbols on a line from left-to-right. Sadly, there aren’t any base game modifiers, but the bonus round gives us a little more to discuss in the next section.
Time Is Money Slot Free Spins Feature
The clock symbol acts as the scatter in Time is Money, and three or more scatter symbols will award 12 or more free spins will additional multipliers. Four will double your counter to 24 spins, whilst all five will give you a massive 48 free spins to play through.
During the free spins, a multiplier clock will appear at the end of every spin and apply a random multiplier of between 1x and 12x to the current round’s winnings. If you collect all 12 clocks during a single feature, the remainder of the bonus round will be forfeit, and you will be paid the jackpot prize of 250x your stake.
Time Is Money Slot Review Final Thoughts
The bonus round of Time is Money saves it from being a little bit dull, but it’s a shame it doesn’t show up slightly more often. I was testing the game for quite a while but only had three bonus rounds despite my best efforts – perhaps I was just unlucky, however. All things considered, it’s worth a few spins.
