Ultra Disco slot theme, stakes, pays & symbols
As I was bopping away to this slot, I thought of other slots that have had me grooving in my chair as I’m writing a review. You’ll find plenty of them in our music slots category, but the specific titles that instantly sprang up for me were two slots, DJ Psycho and The Rave from Nolimit City. Both feature amazing soundtracks, but if I were to pick the better slot, it would have to be The Rave, just because the gameplay is amazing, the bonus features and mechanics are lucrative, and there is a 41,500x the stake maximum win.
I’m not sure the soundtrack on Ultra Disco competes with either, but it’s still enough to get stomping your feet in appreciation. Do the symbol payouts have the same effect? Let’s see. Boogeying on down to the gaming area of the Ultra Disco slot, there are 6 vertical reels and a 4 position horizontal reel across both the top and bottom of the primary grid. The first and last reels can hold between 2 and 7 symbols on any spin, and the middle reels can have between 4 and 9. Due to that reel configuration, spins could deliver anywhere between 1,024 and 321,489 ways to win.
Lining up three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right is required to receive payouts. The slot also utilises a cascading reels mechanic, which means winning symbols are removed from the reels and more fall onto the playing grid from above.
Disco Feature
Disco symbols can only appear on the 4-position horizontal reels above and below the primary playing grid, and if they appear on both on the same reel, the Disco Feature triggers. The two symbols unfold to fill the entire reel with a giant Wild Symbol and hold a multiplier value of between 4x and 9x. That multiplier is the same number as there were symbols on that reel on the triggering spin.
The Wild remains on the reels for the duration of the current spin or until it has helped to create a winning combination. The multiplier is applied to the combination payout the wild helped to create. If multiple wilds contribute to a single combo, their multiplier values are multiplied by each other before they’re applied to the win.
