Valley Of The God 2 Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Ancient Egypt is the theme of course for the aptly named Valley of the Gods 2, so it comes as little surprise to see the reels set upon a background of an ancient temple with a pyramid looming in the distance. You gameplay is accompanied by ritual temple music to add another layer of authenticity to the game.
Progressing to the paytable we see that the lower paying section is made up of the royal cards 9 through to the ace, where pays can reach a maximum of 4x when wins are formed through them. The premium value symbols comprise of the gods Anubis, Horus, Sobek and Bastet, where a 6 of a kind win will pay 6x, 6x, 8x and 16x respectively.

The base game will begin on Valley of the Gods 2 with just 240 paylines active. You will note that other positions on the reels are blanked out with blocker symbols. If you hit a winning combination of symbols, then the amount of symbols that were involved in that win will turn into scarabs and go to destroy the blockers. So in layman’s terms, if you have 5 symbols in a win, then 5 blocker symbols will be removed.
Once the corresponding amount of blockers have been removed the reels will respin, and of course you will now have more ways to win. The aim is to eliminate all blockers so that the bonus feature is triggered, but if you fail to do this in one series of respins then the reels will reset back to the default setting of 240 paylines.
Valley Of The Gods 2 Bonus Feature
When all blocks have been eliminated the bonus round will be triggered, and the 3 meters named Life, Wild & Multi that are situated to the left of the reels will come in to play. Typically when the bonus triggers you will start with a value of 1 extra life and a multiplier of x2, but these can be increased as the feature plays out.
Each symbol on the game is represented by a colour that will either be orange, yellow or blue. These colours correspond with Life Wild & Multi, so when you make a winning combination, those coloured symbols will turn to scarabs and go over to their corresponding meter to the left of the reels.
Filling the life meter will add an extra life to your tally, this means that if you hit a losing spin then you will be given another chance and the reels will spin again. Once you hit a losing spin and no extra lives remain, the bonus will end.
Completing the wild meter will see a random full reel wild added on the next spin, this will drastically improve your chances of hitting a big win, or to carry on the feature at the very least.
Finally, completing the multiplier meter will see it increase in value by x1. At the end of each spin, any wins that you have achieved will be multiplied by your current multiplier value.

Valley of the Gods 2 may come across as a bit of a basic slot, but we found it to be very interesting and really enjoyed the bonus feature when it triggered. You do have to expect mixed results with the bonus, and we had some really low payers that were less than 10x, but plenty that gave us over 200x as well.
As far as Egyptian slots this is one of the best that we have played for while, and is certainly a welcome break from the norm when it comes to the Egyptian genre where you normally find a book and an expanding symbol.
