The Viking theme has proven to be a great source of material for providers over the years to base their slot games on, leading to some excellent releases that achieved global success. With 6 reels, all displaying 5 rows high on every spin, Viking Forge is a grid slot where players create wins through the scatter pays mechanic. All symbols from the paytable will award a win when at least 8 land anywhere within the playfield. Any symbols involved in a winning combo will be removed via the tumbling reels engine, and new symbols will then fall from above to fill the spaces left behind.
Coin Collection
The Coin Overlay symbol can appear randomly and be attached to any symbol except the scatter. Whenever it hits, the coin overlay symbol can display a money value between 0.1x – 20x or a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x. If a symbol with a coin overlay attached to it is part of a winning combination before exploding, the value of the coin overlay is added into a meter. Viking Forge Slot Review Final Thoughts
Viking Forge is a mixed bag from Pragmatic Play. The overall graphics of the slot game are well designed, as you'd expect from Pragmatic, and the max win is above the 5,000x that they like to put on lots of their slots, but the bonus round just didn't cut it for me at all.I found it to be really boring, and it was difficult to see how you could end up winning anything substantial. The majority of the features I played whilst testing hardly ever showed a multiplier on the overlay coins; they were mainly just of a low monetary value, and I got bored really quickly.By all means, play our demo as much as you want, but my overall feeling is you'll have the same opinion as me and won't make the transition on this particular slot game to real money play.
